I think his hands are ok, it's more his feet that seem to be the problem. He gets beaten with shots low and hard and rather than try to block with his feet, he tries to get a hand down to it.

1st goal, ill give him that on balance, a lot more went wrong before goal, however his body just crumbles when watching it.
No average or better Championship keeper is conceding that 2nd goal, in fact I'd have saved that and I'm 49 and stopped playing in goal for the Black Dog in Weymouth in 1995.
Having been at Southampton last season when he did a weird slap at the ball rather than just catch it which cost us a goal and Pompey this season, I'm certainly not going to die on a hill defending him, just feel some poster's vitriol has gone too far.
