In fairness to Thomas he was out on his feet and needed to be removed from the field.

He has to go to Ferrari doesn't he? Work with Hamilton and Ferrari before retiring in a few years makes perfect sense. I can't see him going to Aston or Mclaren as they would be longer term projects in my opinion.

I think criticism of Simms especially was valid earlier in the season. He was lethargic, off the pace and genuinely looked disinterested and lost. As the season has gone on he's shown us what he's capable of and in some way shown that the criticism was valid. He's so much more than he showed...

I don't think it's masked anything to be honest, we're quite a thin squad and always have been. Really if our first choice in a position isn't playing we don't have backup to the same standard.

Thomas was fantastic until he got knackered. It was clear he needed to come off. Don't know why he didn't have the gel that Allen threw at him as he sold collins short immediately after for the goal.

I think he'll be with us until we get promoted in a year or two, then as we're struggling for survival we'll sack him and he'll continue to be a good championship/lower prem manager. Think Allardyce, Mowbray and the like.

Got on the 8:27 from Cov yesterday and it was busy but there were spare seats until we reached Rugby. Came home on the 7:22 via Northampton and the middle was packed but we got on at 7:21 and managed to find quite a few spare seats in the far end even with a lot of Marathon runners on the train...
