Mortimer was a player that Tommy rated highly, but surprisingly wouldn’t get into his best City1X. The midfield he would choose would be Yorath, Powell and Carr.

My Thanks to Ian and Steve of the Nuneaton and Bedworth Sky Blues supporters group for hosting Tommy, Barry Powell and Michael Doyle at the Bedworth Liberal Club last Wednesday evening. I know Tommy really enjoyed himself and the welcome he was given by everyone there. The club (CCFC) is lucky...

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

I think he meant to say Sixways Worcester. It would be interesting however, if it was Sixfields and the RFU disallowed the move as Northampton already has a rugby club. That certainly wasn’t a consideration when they arrived here as no thought was given to the impact on Cov.

No, not me I’m afraid. I would struggle to write about anything not CCFC related!

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

As well as the signs, that ‘We are Wasps’ billboard poster by the A444 island needs to go too. It would be good if CCFC could afford to put something advertising our presence over the top of that.

Aren’t the people who own the training ground former Wasps directors?

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

You would hope so. The only thing tying them to the area seems to be the training ground.

My son sent me this today, I think it is from one of the Wasps forums. Apologies if it appears elsewhere on here. Maybe we haven’t seen the last of them?

    Stop the clock

Same for me. I usually agree with most things Oggy says in commentary but his ‘game management’ ideas, taking the ball to the corners, good fouls, taking one for the team, I totally disagree with.

    Stop the clock

I just sit there getting more and more frustrated by blatant cheating. I don’t like it when we do it either. I come to see a game, not players taking as long as they can over every part of the game when the ball isn’t in play. It needs to be stopped.

    Gyokeres

If we have serious ambitions of getting promotion this season then he surely has to stay. If he is promised that if we don’t make it, he can leave in the summer, I think he would go for that.
