    Dabo's suspension

I was close to the Kane incident. He did suffer a hand in the face which may have been given as a foul, but he definitely dived straight after that. If he had stayed on his feet he could have cleared the ball out for a throw or even up the line. Instead, because he chose to try and con the ref...

I didn't say it wasn't effective just not great to watch. As a Cardiff fan ( presumably Ipswich fan too, although I never seem them play under McCarthy) you are watching joyless, functional football that can surely only be palatable if you are winning regularly. As an opposition fan, it is...

Cardiff were the most 'professional' (ie cheating) team we played last season. Rotation fouling, falling over at the slightest touch, blatant time wasting once they went ahead. All of that and ugly football to boot. I like McCarthy as a bloke, but his way of playing football isn't a good watch.

I think that the easy availability of ifollow is probably a factor too.

Just watched this back. Apart from conceding the 4 goals, what a good performance. Great finishing from Slaviin. A game we should never have lost . Great performances from Smith, Borrows and Speedie, the latter a player I never really took to but who was tremendous in this game. That said, he...

    Kelly injury update

There's going to be some disappointed players who don't even make the bench. I would hope he finds room for Jones.

Had to walk to Highfield Road from Binley Village for that game as there were no buses running, possibly due to the energy crisis. Won the replay 1-0.

Why not a sin bin idea for deliberate fouls? Remove the offender for a period of the game as in rugby Union.

I agree, I think we can take it as a compliment. We have players who are comfortable on the ball and who can hurt teams. It stands to reason that we will suffer above average amounts of ‘treatment’ than a team like Barnsley perhaps who get the ball forward more quickly. The only reason I think...

I hate the way that some teams play, the blatant frustrating time wasting,, the idea of rotation fouling, the take one for the team mentality. Forest, Barnsley and Reading are all guilty of this and I really feel something has to change to stop teams ‘managing games’. Let’s not kid ourselves but...

Racist remark towards a coventry player

Might make some of the cretins in our 'support' who boo the players taking the knee before games think again (I would doubt it). Happened at the Forest and Barnsley games and again last night, booing that is quickly drowned out by the majority who applaud.

Ah, but he was lucky that Jones got injured as this meant he stumbled onto the formation that got us promoted. Just like he was lucky when Hiwula got injured at half time against Fleetwood and he stumbled onto the wing back formation. A run of one losing game and the taxi will be back.

It was a terrible performance all around, so not just blaming him for our defeat, but wasn't O'Brien at fault for both of the Blackpool goals?
