    “Go on, SHOOT!”

Footballers now are generally shite. They can run fast but rarely do because they're ordered to check, pass sideways and backwards bollocks. Why use two passes when 10 will do ? Where are the modern day le Tissiers or Gascoignes ? Jack Grealish is the most exciting flair player we have in the...

    Is Anyone Else Feeling....

I have recently been watching football from the 1980s and 1990s on YouTube, up to Alex Ferguson's Man U at their best. Football now is absolutely shite compared to then . Now it's all about possession. Tippy tappy crap where no one dare shoot unless they're in the penalty box . And whatever...

    They've Got Off Spot-Free AGAIN

Why are you actually on a Coventry City forum when you clearly don't support them. Haven't you got more in common with fellow Leicester supporters or don't they want you ? It's quite sad.

    They've Got Off Spot-Free AGAIN

Did you hear that from Sunderland? That's not exactly the case. Perhaps do you research before posting on a forum that isn't one that should really be your concern.

    The 5 year plan

I like the way a few in here are referring to our owner as ' King' now instead of ' Doug' this and Doug that. That's more like it. Can't stand the love-in that seems to have developed since Sisu buggered off. He's a businessman who is here not just for football and sooner or later he'll have to...

    Can we stop

If anyone spends any time thinking about Doug King they need to get out more.

We reached a playoff final. Nothing at all happened last year, did it ?

Let's wait until 10 games in. It's too early. By then we'll have a better idea where we're going. It doesn't look good after today but we've been here before haven't we.

Match Thread Coventry City - Norwich City Match Thread - Saturday 31st Aug

That game was like watching an under 21 team play an under 16 team. One was just that bit better in almost everything they did and rarely looked troubled. The longer it went on the bigger the difference .

Use of 'on' or 'at' as prepositions of time

Lots of people write " I should of ...." instead of 'should have' It's annoying but then again it's because it's close to how we speak it.

I've got a big compost bin out the back full of veg and millions of worms doing their stuff. I'll get her indoors to make a contribution.

Use of 'on' or 'at' as prepositions of time

" Well I hoped no one would bring that up but I suspect the reality is it would be shit. Far too much meat and highly processed effluent . Perhaps the whole process might be better served if only vegetarians were allowed to make a deposit but having looked at some of the veggy crap my Mrs likes...

Use of 'on' or 'at' as prepositions of time

Inevitably the centre would be the last bit to be filled, by which time the original edges would be covered in vegetation , creeping their way towards the centre . Nature reclaiming . A wondrous thought.

Use of 'on' or 'at' as prepositions of time

It would only fill round the edges, surely ? You'd have to let it crust over to walk on and then send out some lakkies rake it out towards the middle. I've given this some thought.
