    Classic Albums You Have Rediscovered

Relistened to Urban Hymms - The Verve in it's entirety for the first time in years, forgot just how good it was as a whole album. The Rolling People is a great album track, 7 minute wall of sound.

    Leicester

I fall into that younger generation. Grew up with us in the PL in the late 90's and my dad/grandad/brother not liking Villa so followed suit. There was more vitriol v Wolves and WBA at HR when we got relegated as well. I've mellowed on Villa since we haven't played them in nearly 25 years but...

    Not the top 20 prediction

At uni I lived with a lad from Manchester who was a massive footie geek, loved the game but didn’t support anyone. Never really trusted him after I found out. Of all the cities to be neutral in!

    Mane...wtf

The footballer first spotted Aisha when she was 16 but he did not approach her formally at the time, according to Sports Brief. However, he reportedly communicated his intentions to his uncle, a friend of the family, which led to their eventual union.

73 Passes in the build up to a goal v Oxford

This list of the "Top 10 goals based on the number of passes leading up to it" has Liverpool with 51 v Bournemouth in 2014. No idea how in depth it is though. https://www.sportskeeda.com/football/top-10-goals-based-number-passes-leading-to-it

73 Passes in the build up to a goal v Oxford

I was trying to find out what the most was (including pre-PL), it was only 39 for that Leeds one though. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/355274/The-39-passes-that-still-ring-down-the-years

    Sheffield Wednesday 20th Jan

Just watched the highlights on youtube and it mentioned this funnily enough, 23 home FA Cup matches dating back to 1973

FA CUP 4TH ROUND DRAW - MONDAY 19:50 (ish)

Anything's possible with the right draws, look at Boro in the League Cup semis. Got there via Huddersfield, Bolton, Bradford, Exeter and Port Vale.

Aren't they limited to 3,700 for safety reasons?

I missed that, I'll calm down a bit. General point still stands though, anything below 30k and I'll be annoyed.

Match Thread Coventry City - Leicester City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Jan

Not expecting anything from this. Said in the other thread, they're a PL team in everything but name. We won't get rolled over and could manage a draw but I think it'll be a narrow defeat, 2-1. If Wright is fit then the team picks itself (hopefully Kitching is up to speed after missing 3 games)...

FA CUP 4TH ROUND DRAW - MONDAY 19:50 (ish)

Selfishly either of the Manchester clubs away, can walk to Old Trafford and Etihad is a tram ride. After that any home tie. As long as it's not Maidstone away. Fucking miles away and a plastic pitch.

    PSG in the cup

Ouch. Not the PSG game in the OP but same cup, travelled 8,000 miles and lost 12-0 to Lille. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67903643

    Your Portfolio

Getting a ~£37 dividend on a £50 investment in a start up next week after some cloak and daggers. We got sent a shareholder update at the start of December that went something like "Heyyy everything's great, revenue's up. The media said some bad things but ignore them, anyway here's a share...

    Millwall Game Moved

I wonder if the atmosphere has anything to do with it. I've no idea but wouldn't surprise me if it was an amalgamation of us being a decent team with modern facilities with a fanbase that makes a lot of noise. Probably ticks all the boxes for Sky and their need to advertise the Championship.

Match Thread Coventry City v Oxford United - FA CUP 3RD ROUND - 6th January 12:30

I think there's more recent reasons as well. I know it's cheap but people have paid for aways to Leeds, Sunderland and Boro; more casual fans will probably choose between this and Leicester as well. You're right though, success brings the crowds in as we've seen and I'd say that's competition...
