Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

Which is also when his loan ends. "Coventry City striker Jordan Ponticelli has joined Tranmere Rovers on loan. Ponticelli joins fellow League One side Rovers initially until 1st January 2020. Jordan will not be eligible to play for Tranmere against Coventry City".

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

Why? He's not eligible to play against us. And the game is on January 1st.

    L&W supporters club meeting tonight

Christ, if we're picking up on that sort of spelling mistake then there are much bigger fish to fry on here..

    L&W supporters club meeting tonight

Seriously?? He's been one of our most consistent performers over the last couple of months and has been MOTM contender more than once. If you've barely noticed him a trip to Specsavers is needed!

If we win the replay, who do we want ?

It was Slade's first game in charge - it was certainly a sign of things to come ;-)

If we win the replay, who do we want ?

Solihull game is on BT. Sky can't show cup games if they don't have the rights..

    CWR Ratings

I know what you mean, none of them are great (and Stuart Pearce is particularly irritating) but listening to a commentary game at least passes the time down the M40. Agree on Pat Nevin - very good summariser.

I certainly can deny it's entertaining - it's cringworthy. I too listened on the way home (at least as far as Banbury when reception disappeared), mainly to listen to what Robins had to say. As soon as Robins is done it's over to 5live or Talksport for me - I can't stand listening to Bennett...

Entertaining? He's completely embarrassing. He is inarticulate and just spouts cliche-laden drivel. He clearly has little knowledge of our playing squad or any understanding of football in the 21st century. I enjoyed watching him play and he will never be forgotten for his contribution to the...

Best displays against us at HR

That doesn't need hindsight - it was obvious to everyone in the stadium except the team and manager! It really didn't seem like they knew it was a two-leg tie. At 0-1 we threw caution to the wind when it was totally unnecessary. Ridiculous.

Match Thread MK Dons vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 19th Oct

Spot on, he was excellent today, as was Dabo (all of the back four played well). Can only assume the OP wasn't there today.

Burton Fly Trap - Match Report TLS

Why read his blogs if you don't like them? You know what they are going to contain. Many of us find them well written, entertaining and full of keen observation. Please keep them going Lawrence, they are the highlight of the after-match comments.

    Jobello celebration

He might have done it to Blackpool fans, but he certainly carried on doing it as he ran along the City stand. It seemed like it was aimed at us for some reason, which I don't understand - I've seen all but one league game this season and can't remember him getting any significant stick at any of...

Sam grew into the game and got better and better, no chance he was tiring - his passing to the strikers in the box was superb in the second half

Really?? Better in first than second? We were miles better in second half, totally dominated. Fairly poor in first.

    Ratings versus Oxford

Plenty of parking on the road, very easy getaway. Never understood why anybody would park in a stadium car park and expect to get out quickly.

    Highfield Road Best Memories ?

FA cup 4th round v Derby in 1974. The first Sunday game at HR (and possibly one of first Sunday games in England), due to the miner's strike and 3 day week. Early kick-off to save power, huge crowd of 41,000+ due to novelty of playing on Sunday, terrible game ending 0-0. I remember being crammed...
