    And with that Simms chance....

Admittedly Simms had a better view than me behind that goal but it’s very easy to look at a still or a slow motion replay and say he should have passed. In my view it opened up for him to go on his own and I was screaming for him to shoot. Fair play for taking it on and just unlucky the keeper...

    Time's Up

Yeah obviously not as good as we could be but other than the one time QPR went forward and somehow scored, we dominated that second half.

    Time's Up

Am I the only one that thought second half was pretty good tonight? One goalkeeping mistake and failing to take 2 brilliant chances shouldnt decide a manager’s future

Wonder if they’ll get rid of anyone? Maybe just Dempster back to the academy. Robins Ramsey Delaney Boateng Carr Williams Dempsey seems a lot

Yes it would be nice if he scored a couple goals every now and again but it’s a weird stick to beat a mostly defensive midfielder with

Match Thread Coventry City - Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Tuesday 1st Oct

Sounds from Robins like Wilson is a bit of a leader out there which is something we have sorely missed at the back since Fadz left. He's also brave which helps. I wasnt a fan of dropping Dovin initially but i think it might be a decent call until we are fully up to speed and playing with more...

Apologies, it was Michael Smith not the SBT bed wetter

For those who were there at the start of it all

None of our players look knackered and even if they did we now have a full squad of players (maybe other than CM) who don’t really make the side any weaker. We will win a lot of games this season after December when it’s 3 games a week as other sides don’t have the depth we now do

Match Thread Coventry City-SWFC Match Thread- Saturday 5th October

Wednesday looked a bit better in the second half when they brought Matt Smith on but Bristol City should’ve probably been a couple up by half time. 2-0 City - EMC and Sheaf

That was just a horrific pass

Yeah Bidwell had a good game last night I agree with that. But EMC saw a lot of space inside and used it well. Milan still got forward on the overlap plenty of times

    The next 4 games

WWDW. 18 points from 12 games would be a reasonable first quarter and a bit of the season

Saka was on for about 6 mins - absolute nonsense. EMC found loads of space inside so why not use it. Also very difficult for MVE to overlap if EMC just stays wide

I actually think he's fairly tidy on the ball in the main and nowhere near as bad technically as some are making out. His pressing last night though was absolutely crucial

    2 wins

No better chance to get the season going now. Coming off a big win with plenty of confidence. A day more rest than Sheff Wed and them having 2 away games with plenty of miles covered

I actually thought EMC drifting inside seemed like a plan and thought it worked quite well. He found loads of space in between their midfield and defence at times

    Surely fucking not

was a bit worried hed injured himself just before HT yesterday when he kicked the ball on the end of his foot (same way he aggraveted the injury in training a few weeks ago) but seemed to make it through ok. Might be one of those injuries he has to manage for a while. He also did a lot less...

He’s much more of a Robins sort of striker than Simms is. All the successful strikers in Robins time have been good off the ball as well as on it. McNulty, Godden, Vik
