I tend to agree. We signed too many duds. Lati, Binks, Thomas and Kitching are not as good as McFadzeen. Where's Wally in midfield and Wright not being arsed up front aren't helping him.
Remember standing behind the goal and watching David James start to dive just before the shot was hit...he saved it. Keepers anticipate. The goal at QPR was a fluke.
As the team is still in the building blocks stage(according to MR) here's a thought. If you want to press high, how about him and Bassette paired together. Makes sense as Simms can't press and Wright is reluctant, it might just work .
Does anyone really rate BTA. He reminds of a poor man's Sean Flynn. Runs around a lot but doesn't actually achieve much.
Lots of enthusiasm is a good thing...right
I don't think losing AV is the issue. Though it does concern me that we've gained 50 new coaches and we still can't deal with or take a set piece with any thought behind them what so ever. At least 6 of our throw ins last night were fowl throws FFS. I think the ref was probably to embarrassed to...
He was always going to shoot and whether he passes or not is irrelevant . Every number 9 takes that shot on.
Even with his 14 goals I think he was a bad signing
I don't have a problem with blinkered strikers, they're greedy by nature but I do have a problem with Simms ... He's just not very good. Bad signing and we're lumbered with him
He certainly goes missing for quite long periods. So far a disappointing signing. Was hoping for much more after the hype, perhaps high expectations on my part. He has to start grasping the game more. One thing O'hare didn't do was hide .
With all our coaching staff you'd think we'd successfully handle a throw in or a corner, for and against. A corner for us is like giving them an advantage. Absolutely nothing comes of them. The players just stand and watch
