    We are safe!

We conceded by far the most penalties this season - and they were all converted. I'm not even sure if this includes yesterday: And also hit the woodwork the other end far more than any other side (cannot find a table). To survive whilst shooting ourselves in both feet all season is remarkable.

    We are safe!

I think it's important to take a little time to remember all those teams that are not safe. Please join me at 3pm today in a minute of silence to reflect upon Wycombe; Grimsby Town; Barnet; West Brom and all other teams throughout the world less fortunate than ourselves.

    Match Thread Preston (H)

Wilson very lucky not to be sent off there... and stupid to do what he did. He's never going to stop the attacker with his gloves on if he wants to score - just gives him the option to fall over if he needs to,

A bit of a flat game but we're doing OK. O'Hare in the wars again.

    Frank of Ireland

Didn't see much but there was a one-liner I liked - but possibly this is from the trailer I saw this morning, not last night's show: Girl and Guy lying in bed: Guy: Are you seeing anyone? Girl: Yes, he's a doctor. Guy: Is it serious? Girl nods. Guy: OMG, do I need to get tested?

    Bayliss - PNE perspective

We haven't seen him play for two years - he's probably rusty, having been given no chances at PNE, however his body strength should be much greater now and he *should* have improved. Don't think that anyone could say yea or nay based on no information other than what he looked like in League 2...

    Frank of Ireland

Came across the end of this last night when flicking through. Seemed pretty decent - anyone seen a full episode? It's a new Channel 4 comedy series.

And it's so bloody cocky whilst it's doing it too - like it's absolutely certain you meant "how far negligent we are" rather than "how far behind we are" . I think Autocorrect is arrogant and would be a bore at parties, telling you how great it is.

Comfortable mid-table should be the goal next season. We're not going to be troubling the top slots for a while (ever?) whilst Premiership relegated clubs get £100m over three years as parachute payments. It's a system designed to stop massive player turnover for relegated clubs and rapid...

Kinda failed at Scunny but has been scoring since Ebbsfleet aged 22.

It's funny how some players suddenly come good. If you look at his record he'd done nothing until he was released by Southend and joined Plymouth in 2018 - he was 25 then. To put that in context, he was the same age as Baka is now when suddenly he came good. I'm sure Baka will be released...

    Ahem... Ammmmmended. You're welcome.

I disagree. I think it's running fast; dodging people and kicking the ball into the goal.

    O'Hare

Well, you say that. But in the meantime you've sullied my good name to my fans (@PVA; @skybluetony176 ) without proof. However, I accept your apology and agree it was a great win.

His contribution to tika-taka is as Xavi's is to plumbing.

    O'Hare

I'd not let him go for less than £50m.

    Don't remember that either.

I don't remember writing that. If I did, I retract.

I've come to the conclusion that he's a left back, not a left wing back. He tackles well and wins the ball in the air but his distribution is God-awful.
