No they weren’t a success, and I wouldn’t disagree on that. I was more looking at the point you made about the cost of each to the club, Collier who was expensive failed, and McCallum who was free was a success.

I don’t think it’s deluded ,at the current time, to see the club as one that can survive in the Championship. I would say I’m more realistic than positive.

I don’t see it myself. All the comments about them being a club run by wealthy backers….well it’s hardly done them much good since relegation has it, and they are trigger happpy re manager retention.

They still need customers to buy them, and there isn’t many. Millions in losses year on year, dwindling fan base….it’s only heading in one direction…but how long they take to get there is the ultimate question.

So if Boddy went, and it took the club a month or several months to recruit a replacement, are we happy for Fisher to then step in and take over. Careful what you wish for.
