We're playing like we're defending a 1-0 lead against Man City.

    Red card

Having seen his tackle profile, I think he could rise to the occasion.

I'm not great with the rules but morally it looks like handball to me. He moves his arm up towards the ball and steps away. Had he stepped into the ball and it hit the same place without raising his arm (and he appears to have time to do so), it would have been a great and legal block.

Aha! I always suspected that you were part of the conspiracy.

I'm not complaining; I'm not even expressing an opinion on VAR and certainly not on whether it was a penalty or not. I'm just musing. "You win some you lose some" is certainly a valid opinion. But I can also understand people thinking that's unacceptable when if you lose more than you win...

    Red card

And if we are subsequently relegated by goal difference, we'll never know if we would have secured a point against Luton and stayed up. This is why VAR was introduced... a £1 billion industry where the benefits are massively skewed to the most successful and yet failure can be realised by a...

    Match Thread Luton

I was watching the game and then watching the recording of "Unforgotten" from yesterday with my wife. Apologies for the lacking of piping in the interim. Max was let down this evening by a lack of commitment and skill from the other players. I note that Godden and Walker, even when playing...

Max would have scored four from those three chances if Luton hadn't cheated him.

Poor second half. Ostigard lucky not to be sent off for clearing off the line. And what was Robins thinking of, by taking off Max, or most dangerous player? He'd obviously decided he was happy to lose.

That's what I like to see: Max in the team and the also-rans on the bench.

    Congratulations on your return home

He's having a laugh. But mostly at people who get upset about it.

Biamou still has lots to offer

Only if he doesn't play during that time... which seems very unlikely given that he's the first name on the teamsheet.

Biamou still has lots to offer

Also, he missed a season with injury, so he's really 24.

It's almost as if this forum needs an asinine argument on the go at all times.
