I kind of know what you mean Wingy, ambitious claims and fancy talk not backed up by much? But Sisu's ownership was always real estate speculation disguised as football club ownership. As far as I can see that's not King's motivation.

True. But there are also plenty of people who are looking at things entirely rationally, and see this as a decision that carries huge risks for the club. Does King have a proper top coach waiting in the wings, or is he about to interview a bunch of unproven hopefuls?

Do we know he hasn’t got a replacement lined up? The statement says an 'immediate' change is required. If King has got an agreement with a genuine top coach, the dismissal of Robins makes some sense. If he’s now going to scout around for some up and coming guy from the lower leagues or Europe...

Talk about reading too much into things! He didn't sound annoyed, and it doesn't sound stupid. The young lad is as keen as mustard, so I'm sure the injury is genuine. He took a helluva whack to the head in the previous game, so that's one possible cause (the effect can be delayed).

I just don't buy this stuff about the players not caring or not trying this season. We've been on the wrong end of a lot of results in games which could have gone either way, and yes there have been quite a few cockups, but I've seen no lack of effort.

But apparently what the keyboard warriors write exists in a bubble and has no real-world effect. Players and managers are immune because they are automatons, and owners never think to ask what the fanbase are saying.
