    Gustavo Hamer - CONFIRMED

If we're totally honest, I imagine most of us may think we need an upgrade on Godden up top to be competitive let alone Baka and Biamou. That's not to discredit their performances but Godden is untested at that level and Baka and Biamou are a way off Godden.

    George Floyd

Fucking hell. I was bored at work so decided to procrastinate and read this thread. Well, what a mistake, I'm raging on behalf of Hill and also about 2 hours behind on work. Many a bellend, but thank christ that prick was banned. Absolutely disgraceful and, Hill, not sure how you managed to keep...

SBT Awards: Goal of the Season Nomination Thread (Voting now Open)

Plenty of great goals this season but it’s still the easiest answer. Walsh v Rochdale. None of the others come close (despite there being some great goals). Just a marker of how good it was. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Realistic signings

Thank you for pointing this out. Feels like some people are playing football manager rather than reality. My guess would be we will have another transfer window where we all say 'who?' when our signings are announced with possibly the odd exception. Either way, I trust them to get it right.

    Are you happy

Part of me is saying ‘Go on son!’ The other part is saying ‘Fucking social distancing!!!’ But given the situation, ill opt for the former. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Julien Dacosta - CONFIRMED

Also people fail to remember that plenty of English players don’t cut it when moving to a new club. The idea that someone can’t cut it in English football is pretty much a marketing tool to make it seem like english football is the pinnacle. Players fit and don’t fit. It’s not a nationality...

Will we even see any of it?

Interesting article in the New York times from a few days ago. Worth stating this is when they would be 'willing' to do it themselves, not when we will be allowed to. Either way, it's fairly grim reading. When 511 Epidemiologists Expect to Fly, Hug and Do 18 Other Everyday Activities Again

    Walshy wants cov

There's a difference between thinking we might survive, and competing with a team who are established top half of the Championship, with much bigger attendances and a ground, for players. Could we finish above Bristol City? It's unlikely but certainly possible. Would we be able to match their...

    Walshy wants cov

There's been a lot of deluded posts on this forum but us being in the market for better players than Bristol City is up there with the very best/worst (delete as applicable).

    Memorial Park Gathering??

It would take a fair bit of organisation, but I really think the best and most suitable solution would be a slow drive from 'A' to 'B' (not sure of route) and then if B could say result in everyone parking say in the Memorial Park and we have a bit of a drive-thru style party in the car if...

    Memorial Park Gathering??

Fuck man, if only those 40,000 people had taken a couple of aspirin and a spoon of honey... Wish we'd known about this before the pandemic started.

    Madeline McCann

A few things have always massively stuck out for me in the whole saga from both a moral perspective and suspicious perspective. One, they took money from the Maddie fund to pay their mortgage. Baffling. Secondly, and more worryingly, why the hell did Kate wash Madeline's teddy almost immediately...

    George Floyd

Even when they silently kneel they get tear gassed and rubber bullets fired at them. There's no doubt there has been unnecessary violence, but from a minority. When you have that many people mobilised, there's always going to be bellends. Like there were loads of bellends at Rotherham away etc...

    Next year season tickets

It's a difficult balance. I wouldn't want to see fans priced out at all but also understand that if we are going to have the finances to not die on our arse in the Championship then the club has to generate income. As a Season Ticket holder I wouldn't be too upset about a price hike to say £350...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I don't imagine they are too concerned missing out on one pay cheque when the sign on fee alone for their new club could well be about 20x more.

Just how big is our fan base ?

I’m from Stratford and have a collection of 10 or so mates from surrounding towns and villages who we go with. Having said that, I am the only city fan in Stratford I know. Nearly all my mates are villa fans, the odd Liverpool/United glory supporters. That said, all the villa fans actively want...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

No, because it hasn't been confirmed yet. The rumours suggest the EFL are meeting today and a date of Monday will be put forward as the preliminary vote (vote by the entire EFL to change the rules and allow for relegation/promotion etc). We then still have to a have a League One vote on PPG or...
