Club Statement regarding EFL vote and stadium situation

As Stu says, it's in place as contingency - the "bargaining power" aspect clearly isn't the only reason this has been lined up, but the effect is the same as the club will be using this as a lever in the negotiations.

Club Statement regarding EFL vote and stadium situation

Even at this stage I wouldn't bet against us being at the Ricoh again next season. This smacks to me of CCFC lining up an alternative to increase bargaining power in the rent negotiations with Wasps.

Get comfortable my friend, we're not going to see the end of such threads for the best part of a decade. Remember #CarlBakerDay??? This'll be worse, McNulty was actually consistently good for us for a while and helped us win something, unlike Baker who only played with any consistency after we...

Relatively - I mean in comparison to the various non-league teams who fold from time to time. There have been a few ex-league clubs to go bust like Halifax, Scarborough, Chester, Aldershot, Hereford, Darlington etc but Bolton are an ex-PL team, played in Europe, League Cup final, big whacking...

The senior players showed some great ethic by loaning cash to youth players / other employees and gave them some lifts where needed, but that's only a short term solution. The owners whoever they end up being) need to grow a pair and see that people are paid in full as per their contracts...

48 hours away from expulsion / New Ricoh Talks!

I worked at their head office at Newbury and was amazed by how many people called it "Vodaphone", despite 'Vodafone' being a well-known brandname in this country for over 20 years.

    Tranmere v Newport

Newport in L1 would be a six pointer for most teams next term, can't seem them prospering at a level so far above their natural weight. Which obviously means we'd fail to beat them (if this season is anything to go by).

I remember they were interviewing he groundsman prior to one of their last remaining home games in spring 1997 - he was moving a circular pattern onto the grass at Roker Park, proudly telling the interviewer: "We've not lost on grass this season", only for the interviewer to ask "what about...
