Originally from Cheylesmore, but now flying the flag in Rugby.
More City here NW than Leicester, know quite a lot of City and thankfully only one Leicester.
Nice bloke Chay, good luck to him!
He coached my kids for a bit at the Strachan Soccer school in its early days, when it did Thursday nights in Rugby, before it became the foundation.
Same with the Observer though, they are our local papers and they will get mentioned, mainly because of the utter shite both produce, and the two megalomaniac reporters that tend to write it.
Yep it was 7-2. Can remember sitting in the East stand mouth wide open as we were destroyed by a fantastic team.
I seem to recall we didn't get off to the best of starts that season, and this was the beginning of the end for Regis Genaux's time at the club, before the season had even started.
The Joy Squad? How old are you?
Most normal people realise the Telegraph is shit. If you find it a fascinating read, fill your boots with the other handful.
The first game I can remember going to was the 3-1 against Crystal Palace, where Clive hit the free kick into the top corner and it rebounded out and the ref never gave it. Gerry Daly scored a couple, and Andy Blair the other, and I was hooked from there!
clive allen crystal palace goal against...
Is that the one Speedie curled it into the top corner, then climbed up the fence and cut his hand open....or am I confusing the Speedie goal for another one?
(*Edit - already covered by you, it was that one...great goal)
When a business with a limited budget spend money on something that brings it no commercial benefit, I would say that is Wasted resources.
You keep pushing the conspiracy if it makes you happy, I will trust the words of the man that ran it and it was down to cash, like the one on the Birmingham...
Did you say it was to do with time and finances then?
Exactly the same reason shut down the Villa and Blues forum on the Birmingham Mail, due to time, staffing and cost constraints.
So the club deserved what it got because of its owners, who were only there because of the ineptitude of other owners.
I would say the current and previous owners should have got what they deserved, not the club or us the fans.
Given a few likes on the thread, mainly because there are fans of the club who have given up a lot more time, effort and money to see the team we support away from home, than I have, and I respect the effort they have put in.
Dont let the door hit your arse on the way out Mr Real Fan.
You have the audacity to label people super fans for disagreeing with your opinion, and yet call your self a 'real fan' and those that disagree aren't.
Oh no I am a liar and a clown. Oh I am so hurt. Your'e a wanker.
I don't need to provide your post, you know that you have attended more Luton games than City games recently, but you choose to deny it. Cant imagine you have been to a city game recently. You do know the club have moved to the Ricoh?
That's funny, I think people who call CCFC fans arseholes for attending Sixfields are arseholes.
I didn't attend Sixfields but have the brain capacity to understand people have a freedom of choice in this country.
