Match Thread Rotherham United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 5th Oct

Don't want to continue it too much as I am not against recycling. But the issue is Sainsburys have stopped allowing customers to put loose carrots peppers etc in little plastic bags and you need to buy a new bag at 30p that can be washed and used again. As a poster said before look at the issues...

Match Thread Rotherham United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 5th Oct

What about global warming? Got into a debate in Sainsbury's today with an eco worrier staff member. They will sell me every thing in plastic packaging but I can't put my ginger in a plastic bag anymore and have to buy a 30p bag! While I am in no doubt the world as a whole is warming the rate...

Match Thread Rotherham United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 5th Oct

Mcfaz is a leader but vs Doncaster was a liability and today a disaster. He seems seriously error prone when the ball is on the floor. Of Rose Hyam work well he can't expect to walk back in. With Jobello out is the loan market an option?

No need to rush him but 433 will suit his game. Lots of football for the u23s soon I hope. We need him back mentally and physically strong before we put him back into the first team. Hoping the come back goes well.

We are two wide from winning this league

Jobello is a winger in a 4 4 2. He delivers plenty of crosses. As MR has said he just needs to modify his game and get used to the system. I would be loathed to move Ohare to that role as he covers lots of ground and would get less possession and is very creative in the middle. Look I g forward...

Cov Tele - more negative bullshit.

To go back to the title of the thread negativity in the media. Whatever your views on City, Trump and Brexit, I see there is correlation in the way the media spin things between these three issues. Trump is subject to impeachment as he has allegedly been acting illigally according to Nancy...

Transfer Rumour More Callum Wilson rumours

It's fair to say utd need goals and Wilson would be a good signing. What I like about from a CCFC perspective is utd have a history of paying over the odds which will increase our sell on amount.

    Leeds tracking McCallum?

This story has captured wider attention and the BBC gossip column has him linked with West Brom and Aston Villa.

We didn't play Saturday - but what a day!

I agree to a large extent. I am hoping wasps have a poor season themselves which would draw lower attendances and increase their funding shortfall. I don't honestly see SISU building a stadium (especially with planning issues due to council relations) so Ricoh is their only option.

We didn't play Saturday - but what a day!

I don't disagree with any of that. My point was would you support 1 more season out of the City if it got rid of wasps and meant we had the Ricoh back.

Rockdude some merits in what you say about SISU and bad faith approaches. These tactics are quite common in most businesses transactions. Trying to gain a competitive advantage. Where the issue becomes so very wrong is what the Council did as a result of our owners "acting in bad faith". They...

We didn't play Saturday - but what a day!

I think the OP is looking slightly longer term. If we had to have one more season away to bankrupt wasps surely you could see the merits in that? Or are you so desperate to play in Coventry you want to regardless it would put your club in a bad place financially? If one more season meant we...

We didn't play Saturday - but what a day!

Agree as long as it does not take more than one more season to fully distress their finances. If they go down this season or are in the lower echelons of the league they will be really struggling. I wonder If there is a group of NOPM wasps fans who live in and around London?

Who owns the land? The politicians don't, they supervise it for the tax paying residents who pay their wages. Their remit is to create a prosperous city and that includes sporting clubs, not least as they bring in vital revenue for local businesses. When a council is using it's position of...

It wasn't offered those terms. SISU had ruffled elected members and public servants feathers to the extent the Council sort revenge by bringing a franchise club into the City as a two fingers to sisu and in doing so the club. Even if state aid was not used, morally this was a very low blow and I...

More is known about Wasps and CCC's cosy relationship than in 2013. The Council have proved they resent SISU and in turn have turned their back on the cities premier sporting club. If you dispute this please say why? Regardless, I support the players and the club. See Bolton, Bury and other high...
