I visited the murder scene this evening (not in a professional capacity). The pictures in the Telegraph make it look much closer to Northumberland Road than it really is. It's actually five or six houses from the end of a terrace near the bottom of Melville Road.

It's spelt 'Waveley' on old maps.

I remember the last campaign to short-squeeze the silver market (during Occupy Wall Street) it didn't end well for silver investors. Max Keiser has conveniently forgotten his part in it.

I planned to buy some physical silver as a long term investment but the dealer's markup is around 50% so it would be a long time (normally) before I even broke even.

Good luck with that mate! I've tried with two different exchanges and it's like pulling teeth. No matter how much ID you provide them with they always ask for more before they'll let you deal.

It did have restaurants at one time! A self service one in the basement and waitress service on the mezzanine floor.

There was a similar complaint when Walker's (also a jewellers) was built on the corner of the National & Provincial Bank, blocking off much of the view down Hertford Street.

Behind the temporary shops there was a much taller building, a municpal canteen I think? And before there was a ramp there was a wide staircase in exactly the same position.
