    Walking football

I can't promise that every game will be like the one I went to yesterday - but all of the above was maintained. There's even some aggression which I like - the challenge to shield the ball whilst someone is clipping at your feet from behind. I even fell over twice (but admittedly, once was...

    Walking football

Just got back - it was excellent. Great bunch of lads; 'walking' interpreted loosely and no sock/shite whipping. I don't know how old you are Clint but I'm in my late 50s and I just simply cannot play proper football any more without infuriating my team members when I cannot move at pace.

    Walking football

I've been studying Micky Doyle and #Madderz10... so I'll be shouting in their face and falling over and rolling on the floor at the drop of a hat.

    Walking football

I stopped playing regular 5-a-side about 5 years ago (and 11 a side 15 years ago) as I no longer had the pace to compete. I've decided to try walking football and am off the morning to try it out. Does anyone else do this? Thoughts? Fully expecting the limited control and skills I ever had...

    Professional attire

I absolutely support anyone's right to wear what they wish and personally I think anyone angry about Tracy's choice is a nob. However, wearing an off-the-shoulder dress is a bit odd for an office environment and subsequently probably also for the HoC.

    Family Business

Shoot, you are absolutely right, mea culpa. Also of course David Cameron; Nick Clegg; Hilary Benn and Jamie Oliver - all wealthy fascists.

Who is it that you think has wealth and power? The Far Right or the Far Left? The Far Right tends to be skinheads and Nick Griffin types. I agree many on the Far Left are wealthy... but is that what you meant?

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bolton Wanderers Match Thread - Saturday 8th Feb

Bolton haven't been too bad; they're certainly not the worst team in the league. The problem will be to break them down and actually score a goal I suspect. I hope Robins realises this and has a plan.

Some of our fans are garbage

I don't think anyone is garbage. I think some people are perpetually negative and that must make them unhappy. I'd love to help them to be more constructive but I'm also aware that you simply cannot get through to some people. But it's not unique to us; these people are there in all walks of...

They make me laugh with lots of their tweets. And everything is a conspiracy: a cigar is never a cigar. Even Long-Bailey was at it yesterday... awful and rude of the BBC to post an incorrect picture of Dawn Butler, but Becky reckons it's no accident. There's plenty of them claiming that the...

No way is it reserved - it's used with a Gallic shrug and applied to everyone. They're starting to fragment a bit too I think and calling each other fascists.

You're lucky if they call you a centrist - their modus operandi is that everyone else is 'Far Right'. I prefer 'Corbynista' as it has romantic connotations of some South American coup - and reminds me of that triple Clash album...

Have we just become a “Selling Club” or have we always been one?

We bought players too. Does that mean we are a buying club? We also trained some in the academy, so that makes us a training club. So for completeness, we are a buying, training and selling club. This makes us different to every other club in the world in a way that I dont see able to...

    Match Thread Birmingham match thread

People saying they'd play a weak team and don't care if we lose are missing the point that this game is worth more than £0.5m. Made up of winner prize money and share of gate receipts versus Leicester. If you want us to have more money to compete in the league and would like for us to be able...

Have we just become a “Selling Club” or have we always been one?

You've answered your own question by using 'could' and 'may' as your choice of verb tense. £3m now or take a chance on £4m or nothing in six months time? When you need money it sounds like a no-brainer to me.
