    Striker?

Wonder if we can sign Sheaf permanently now. That would enable us to get an extra loan in and would have the added benefit of winding up a few fans on here too.

I'd guess Deeney is on £100k a week. If we sign him for 3 weeks that's a £300k punt that could keep us up!

    Eccles Recalled

Wondered if maybe a midfielder going out? Only really Allen or Shipley would be possible wouldn't they?

    January transfer window

Yeah you're probably right. With McCallum I guess it's a case of if Norwich get an injury or two which could happen up until deadline day. Would have thought Giles would have been recalled already if Wolves were unhappy with his playing time.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. Anybody know if there's a chance McCallum and/or Giles might be recalled by their clubs?

I share the same concerns as you about our attacking midfield positions. Have felt that way since the start of the season. I seem to recall I was shot down for that view back in September though...

Armstrong has done better than I ever thought he would. He was obviously very good at goalscoring with us - great movement, pace and finishing. But the rest of his game was poor in my view. Clearly developed really well in last few years. Very pleased for him.

As others have said Sheaf MOTM. Allen also did well. And the back 3 didn't do anything wrong. The rest were poor.

Haha what a lack of understanding. When the ball is on the left half of the pitch the right sided players will go narrow. in both the pictures you show, Giles is in front of Dacosta as Liquid Gold pointed out earlier. Exactly where you'd expect a right winger to be.

Robins must ask his right wingers not to drift inside at all because Giles certainly never left that right flank.

No, do you? When Giles came on he was clearly under different instruction to O'Hare. Managers are allowed to change shape/instructions mid-match.

    Sheaf

Sheaf was shaky first half but got much better in the second half and did well. Seems to be somebody who starts slowly when getting up to match speed but he's got a great opportunity to put a run of games together now. A lot of fans will conflate his calmness with laziness. He will come good...

He might have been brought on in the CAM position and it could be a strange coincidence he spent the whole two minutes he was on the pitch hugging the right touch line. 2 minutes probably not a big enough sample size to judge. In my opinion he was sent on to attack their left full back and not...

    Kelly

He wasn't actually a big stand out in League 2 from memory. Possibly overshadowed by Doyle. Since Doyle left he's been immense.
