Joe Cole agrees deal with Tampa Bay Rowdies

I probably can't make it this weekend as its my mates birthday and now he now wants to play golf and BBQ round the pool but the next home game is on June 4th against Ottawa Fury at 7.30pm if you fancy that game? There is a supporters bar, 1 block away called the "Rowdies Den' .... Let me know if...

Joe Cole agrees deal with Tampa Bay Rowdies

I coached\played in the FSSL (Florida Suncoast Soccer League) Cup Final at the Rowdies yesterday and spoke to one or 2 people about Joe Cole. Although it’s a small, probably 7,000 seater former baseball stadium, the settings and surroundings are absolutely superb. It’s right in downtown St...

Sooooooooo glad Denver won yesterday.. not only because i don't like the Patriots but some of their fans yesterday in the bar were f-in insufferable!! They remind me so much how the Man United fans were when they were winning everything.. arrogant pricks the lot them... It was so good to see at...

    Lucky Escapes ?

Years ago.. when the snow came round in January\February we used to run behind cars and grab their bumpers ('Granny it') and let them pull us all around the streets in Radford. This one day i decide it's a good idea to run behind a bus that's just about to go up Lydgate Rd\Hill.. so i sneak to...

Who watches American Football in the UK?

The only other rule change i would like to see is the single point kick after a TD. It would be so much better if this was kicked from point of TD catch position (a bit like rugby), not right under the bloody posts!! I just don't see the point of it when they hardly ever miss.

Who watches American Football in the UK?

I agree.. I talk with my yank mates and they just brush it off like its ok.. I tell them its bloody stupid that the other team doesn't get a go if one team gets a TD.. Their answer "Well they'd be playing all day?"... My reply.. "So what?, it's a playoff!" Grrrrr.. make's me angry.. lol

Who watches American Football in the UK?

To be honest I'm more of a College Football fan these days and was lucky enough to go to the 'Outback Bowl' at Raymond James Stadium (Tampa Bay Bucs) on New Years Day... My mate is a massive Tennessee fan (was born there but actually lived on the Tenn\Georgia state border) so I watch the Vols...

Who watches American Football in the UK?

[Spoiler Alert] if you haven't seen the game DO NOT READ!! haha.. I get so angry with that OT rule in that who ever wins the coin toss gets to go for a TD and then its over and the other team don' t get a chance??? Even College Football has addressed this ridiculous rule and both have...
