Video Mark Robins | Wrexham Reaction

My observations are that Wrexham raised their game and treated the game as their cup final, backed by amazing support. They played far better than they really are. Robbins was right to give fringe players an opportunity, an opportunity they failed to take. Simon.Moore gifted Wrexham two goals...

    Reminder to doomongers

I will leave this thread now leaving all you doom mongers looking up the best route to Gillingham for next season... if you are that convinced we are doomed. Cheers guys, enjoyed the banter.

    Reminder to doomongers

Agreed. Wycombe had 1 point after 8 games. We have 1 point after 3 away games. Do I have to explain to you the comparison is ridiculous. Think I will change my user name to Unbalanced Opinion instead of trying to balance fairly the negativity and positivity views !

    Reminder to doomongers

What gets to me are those who are writing us off as relegation fodder after just 3 AWAY games - games which we should have won. My point is that Forest hadn't won in 8 games. I know about Forest appointing Cooper and getting good loans in. That is irrelevant to where Sky Blues might be after 8...

    Reminder to doomongers

I respect your opinion, but we, unlike Forest, haven't played 8 games yet and not won in 8. Maybe compare after we have played 8 games to see if my positivity is justified ?

    Reminder to doomongers

After 8 games last season Forest had just 1 point. Had won 0 ! Don't let your negativity drag everyone down.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Preston North End Match Thread - Wednesday 31st Aug

100% agree. Far too much negativity when we could, and should, have won all 3 games so far... losing due to goalkeeping errors. We are good enough for top 6. Waits for the usual abuse.

    Away Table

Sky Blues are 18th in the away table with all teams having played 3 away. There are 10 teams who have lost 2 away games . Considering the problems caused by the pitch and Simon Moore gifting the opposition 4 points at least and we are without O'Hare, far too early for all this negativity. We are...

8 points off automatics with 3 home games in hand.

I'll take that. This season it's wide open.

5 points off the play offs with 2 games in hand.

2 points from safety with 2 home games in hand.

My best friend is a long standing season ticket holder at Crystal Palace and says Simon Jordan was shafted by predators. He rates Jordan highly, says he is passionate about football and would do am amazing job for CCFC.

    CBS issues

It matters not one iota if Wasps told CCFC they were not going to relay a new pitch. It matters not one iota if the CWG buggered up the pitch. The one and only relevance is the terms Wasps agreed to in the legal agreement they signed to provide a pitch fit for purpose for CCFC to play football...

Plague on all houses for me

I hope the EFL is sympathetic to the situation the club finds itself in as the EFL are responsible for arranging fixtures and must have been aware that rugby would be played just before the season started.

    CCFPA

As an 80 year old supporter since 1952, some members of the CCFPA may mean nothing to today's supporters but to us oldies even those former players who never quite made it, rekindles distant memories of the good old days. Is George Mason dead lol ?

    Who is Grendel ?

This person is obviously an experienced pundit with a wealth of football knowledge having spent many years in the professional game. Seems to disagree with the majority of those posting on this forum.... or is he just controversial on purpose to wind people up ? The word "ego" springs to mind.

    Michael Doyle

To conclude, I value Mark Robbins opinion of Michael Doyle over Grendel's opinion.

    Michael Doyle

According to Grendel, once a player reaches his prime and their abilities become less, they are rubbish and he doesn't care what they contributed when in their prime. Doyle is a legend, loves CCFC and always says we are his club.
