    Sisu and Clarity

Just read the release, totally logical. I would have done the same if it had been my call.

What Is A Real Fan ?

On the tele last night they were interviewing a guy who had bought his ticket for the Superbowl Final last October. They are selling hospitality packages for $6,000. I guess I am a supporter and not a true fan as I have not booked a ticket for the FA Cup Final.

    Food and Beverage revenues

When I first started going to Highfield Road I doubt it would have added up to a Grand a Game. I can not imagine that HR income for Pies was a million even at its peak. So to state the bleeding obvious the Catering side of things is not selling a few pies at half time, or beer for that matter...

Southampton - getting their lucky break

One of the basic principals is that the owner needs to be a fit and proper person. Any owner that puts a Club into Administration immediately fails that test. Nobody of course knows what would have happened, who else would have taken over, but it is difficult to believe it could have been...

Yesterdays match was a stain on football.

I have just watched the highlights on the I player after listening to the commentary yesterday. It seemed to follow up the audio, PNE had loads of opportunities before they scored and could have been out of sight at that point. Red Card, well if it had been against us I would have moaned, but...

    Abuse at Preston??

CCLC decided not to hold functions at Northampton, some members go to home matches, some do not. I am not aware of any that do not respect the others decision.

    Arsenal sold out now?

Why didn't the people moaning guarantee to the club that if they took up the extra allocation they would make good any shortfall if they were not all sold? Win win.

    SISU/OTIUM business Acumen

Overall they have not been fit and proper, however this thread is irrelevant to that discussion.

    Arsenal sold out now?

I do not know of any supporter who does not want SISU gone, but if it had been my call I would not have taken the extra tickets.

    Spoke to a property lawyer

The lease can not be broken unless there is a clause that would allow it to happen, which is very unlikely, the freehold could be sold, the leasehold could be sold, willing seller and buyer needed.

Ricoh arena won't be sold without debt attached

They can not break the lease, if they want the freehold with no leaseholder then would need to buy both.

Crawley at home and on the Hill

Just a thought, perhaps the Hill could be developed, in a modular fashion of course. Could include a bar, food and be let out for non football events. Should be a money earner.

I am sure someone will enlighten me.

It would not be them, it would be their investors. I do not understand the sell for a stadium of any size.

I am sure someone will enlighten me.

This has been discussed many many times. If you have a local benefactor who has more money than they can spend and wants an interest then of course you can make a case for a new stadium etc etc. If you have an investment company looking to make a good return for its investors, then there is no...

Who will own the new stadium?

20m is for the construction, and sounds low. Then there is the land etc etc. 40m may be the investment sic, how much is that investment worth now?

Who will own the new stadium?

That has always been my question.

Who will own the new stadium?

Like all other teams we need a benefactor.

Who will own the new stadium?

If you invest you are looking for a return, one better than you could get elsewhere. Why would someone want to invest in such a dodgy proposition? Where is the pay off? Every team wants to get promoted. Much easier to get demoted.
