    There is another way but.....

Nobody know how they are funded, I would have thought it less likely that they would go cap in hand to potential investors looking for those specifically interested in a new ground. Not that i believe this would be part of a plan anyway.

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

I would not have thought that SISU have the in house property development expertise, it is not their area. They would need to partner with someone who has. Now I find it hard to believe they would want to do all of this, but 60 acres with development potential will not be cheap, I have no idea...

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

What sort of return can you expect to get on a 25m new stadium for CCFC? Would that rate of return interest a hedge fund?

    new ground ??

I just do not understand the financial logic for a 3rd tier club to build a new stadium. A figure of 25m has been mentioned, a quarter of the cost of the Ricoh and that was a few years ago. Where is the return? I can see some of the logic for Premiership clubs with the much larger revenue...

And then finding someone to buy it from them at a profit.

    What is the end game?

I do not see how SISU can win, maybe reduce their loses. The Club can not be worth very much, hardly any assets, presumably the biggest one is the golden share. Whatever you think of SISU they have 'invested' a large sum. I would have thought that the best case scenario would be to get out...

    This plan might work but......

I doubt if the Council could sell it at below open market valuation without all sorts of other issues popping up.

    This plan might work but......

What would it then be worth to sell on? SISU are not long term investors.

    This plan might work but......

I would add the successful business aspect does not necessarily involve a successful CCFC, that would be a bonus.

2017/18 - Sky Blues start the season at a new ground just outside the city limits

After 30 years at Highfield Road, the first time I went to Ricoh, well if someone had told me were outside city limits I would have believed them.

Support the lads...for the final push

Well lets be positive, so far no suggestion of a MK Cov? The team will eventually it seems come back as long as liquidation can be avoided.

The Football League and SISU - justify

Presumably they would need to settle the current rent arrangement?

Will people ever be happy as long a SISU are still here?

That seems the only obvious sensible out, there may be development opportunity at the Ground that would help.

The 40m SISU takeover that could have saved Saints

If SISU had been able to get promotion and cash out, all would have been good. Perhaps we could have got an Owner like others have done who does not see it as a money making venture.

Sisu boss Joy Seppala rejects council offer to play at Ricoh Arena rent-free

Everything I have read about Joy suggests it is all about the bottom line, not personal. To know whether what she is doing makes sense, you would need to know the plan they have.

    The Final Proof

The Club is an ephemeral item, I think most people know it but trying to pin it down is difficult, certainly not the Owners or the Directors. Not even the Stadium as those change, I did have my doubts leaving Highfield Road. But most seem happy to move to the outskirts into something shiny and...
