I just read that post out loud, and you pronounced van Ewijk wrong.

Match Thread Swansea City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 19th Aug

I see the club are advertising for a Head of Performance Analysis. Seems unnecessarily extravagant, when they can just crowdsource on here.

    Matty godden

I reckon his current all-round performances are as good as I've seen from him. If only he'd buried one of those shots at Leicester. Sluggish for a lot of last season, but clearly motoring now.

    Perspective

Yes and despite that, mostly did a fine job of defending too. It's such a tough position to play. Bidwell is more limited on the ball than Da Silva, which I presume is why he's lost his place (at least for now) but I hope he stays because you need different types of player in that position...

    Perspective

But it's clear that the wingbacks have been asked to push high up the pitch. If we lose the ball there are definitely going to be times when the space behind the wingbacks will be exploited. They can't be everywhere at once so will be 'out of position'. There are inherent risks (as well as...

And superbly in patches. Promising I'd say, and in some ways easier on the eye than last season. To be honest, while results are obviously important, I have been just as interested in seeing the potential of the new signings, since they are on quite long contracts. And I like a lot of what I see.

You mean Wright right on the left, with Sakamoto left on the right?

Binks looks like an excellent loan signing in that position to me.

    Transfer targets

No, but we have Kelly and Lati who can play in those DM positions too. So while we do want to add quality & depth there, we're not so desperate that selling clubs can rip us off.

    The Replacement

Since I typed this, I've been getting adverts for camping equipment pushed at me!

    Transfer targets

There's no area of the team where we are struggling to put out a strong combination at the moment. We may be shopping to add more quality and depth, but we aren't in the position of having to make desperate signings. It's a good position to be in.

He insists on having a break for playtime? How old is he?

When did the Arena change for you?

So your experience of HR was between the ages of 3 and 12, and mostly after relegation. You missed so much, which is your fault for being young :)

When did the Arena change for you?

Which era / type of matches are you referring to though. As with any stadium, it could rock or be like a library. And when it rocked it was a special place.

When did the Arena change for you?

In the early days of the stadium, I'm pretty sure there was frequent talk of the 'Ricoh Roar', mainly referring to the home end (North Stand). The atmosphere only became terrible when the team became terrible. Now it feels like the 'home end' is actually the entire east side, and it's awesome at...

    Transfer Rumour Callum Styles

Good to hear that you meant competition rather than replacement. Is Styles the same type of player though? (genuine question, I don't know. From brief clips I got the impression he was more of a ball carrier.)

A poor comment I think in the current circumstances
