Get Cov Back to the Ricoh response to Wasps Ricoh Takeover

I don't think Simon has been getting much joy looking at this tweet..? @gmkonline Waiting for clarification on one question. Also waiting on CCFC to respond to similar questions. Nothing as yet.

Get Cov Back to the Ricoh response to Wasps Ricoh Takeover

Firstly thanks for the info in your posts Rob. Its still not 100% clear if this is a 'Wasps' consortium though is it?

Cov RFC do NOT want a merger with Wasps

Is it possible to anticipate how long this saga could play out for??

A great post to end this thread.

Cov RFC do NOT want a merger with Wasps

I've always thought that waggots goatie looks like boot polish..

Cov RFC do NOT want a merger with Wasps

But SISU have no other bargaining chips left (baring a very hopeful JR appeal). They won't pay a single bean more than they have to so will take a very aggressive negotiating stance. What it needs is someone to conduct a 'what if' meeting with ACL to take back to the dragons den of SISU. Now...

    Matchday packages now available

I had one at the last year at the Ricoh. You swapped your voucher on match day for an actual ticket.

    Fickle Sky Blue supporters

Pompey had 16k v Wycombe last weekend. League 2, pretty shabby football for the most part. The difference? They are supporter owned. People will buy into it if they genuinely feel part of something that's going in the right direction. SISU can go part of the way now by buying the Ricoh...

Cov RFC do NOT want a merger with Wasps

I still believe its an option for them. How quickly do they have to make a move? That aside, 50% split with supporters would be ideal..could the council agree a long term sale plan with the trust?

Cov RFC do NOT want a merger with Wasps

Would a supporter buy out for half the Ricoh ever be possible? Just cant see SISU ever paying for it....

They need to keep barking these out. Good value. We should be averaging 15k.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Given the recent 12 months or so, and the emphasis on the clubs importance to the cities economy, does anyone think that the council would be so callous to approve a deal which, 1. Runs a high risk of ousting ccfc and 2. Runs a risk of seeing the wasps project failing with limited support, for...

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

I'd settle for a 50:50 split of seat colour if it meant the Ricoh was effectively owned by ccfc and benefited from Tina turner concerts.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Wouldn't hear many complaints from me if it was a take over + Ricoh + Wasps playing their European games there. The stadium would have to remain CCFC decked out though. Maybe I'm just dreaming for the best scenario for CCFC but I'm starting to ponder if this is a real possibility.....

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Are we thinking take over of ccfc amongst that package??

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

We know that SISU won't part with a bean unless there's serious potential to make money for investors. The supporters wishes are also very low on the agenda. How much value then would the leasehold of the Ricoh add to the value of ccfc? I'm trying to think in SISU terms as I'm genuinely...

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Agreed. Fisher (or maybe rather SISU) was not big enough to simply say 'we are looking at everything with fresh eyes'. They now have the chance to do the right thing....
