    Bosma goes out on loan

He was living with a friend of a friend in Leamington until he got a house sorted in August. I went with the family he’s staying with to the game against Scunthorpe. They were saying he left early that morning to go get measured up in a cov suit, not that says too much but it didn’t sound like...

    Jack Grimmer

For the first goal the first fault is Hyam's, he is far too slow getting out to his man, but to say Grimmer couldn't do anymore is ridiculous. Once that ball is played in, he's in the right position to win it. As an attacking side I would say it was a great header from the lad, but from our...

Match Thread Coventry City vs Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Saturday 18th Aug

I agree with the reasoning stated already in this thread that bar the scoreline (yes I know it's important) we played well for the most part against Scunthorpe, and if we continue in that vein, we'll win more than we lose, so at home I would keep things similar to that. I do think the issues in...

    Player Ratings

It's early days yet, while I can't say I'm not a little concerned, I'm confident things will start clicking sooner rather than later, and no poor performances from last night make me thinking we can write off any of them, just was a bad day at the office. O'Brien 6 - Thought he did okay. Couple...

Agree with this; I thought Grimmer was pretty awful to be honest. Bayliss was highs (that run) and lows (way too many misplaced passes). Thought Shipley made a claim for a start on Saturday with his cameo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't wanna do a 'My dad's harder than your dad' here, but it genuinely was -8 at Wycombe last season.

The smaller/midweek crowds never really seem to have the same 'stag do', 'lad' culture so tonight (fingers crossed) should be completely trouble free. I look back about 6 years to a 2-2 draw at Cardiff, when it felt like there was about 80 of us there and everyone had a row to them self and have...

To be fair, this is perfectly in line with what I heard, I also overheard as i headed back in from the 'concourse' from the lad involved that it was over a rumour the other blokes nephew had started. Despite it seemingly apparently having previous, it does often feel like this could happen at...

Agree with this, I would stick with a core and make a tweak with the more competitive places. O'Brien Grimmer Willis Davies Brown Kelly Ogogo Bayliss Andreu Hiwula Bakayoko

Amadou Bakayoko - Confirmed 2 Year Deal

It seems to be the same with Sterling too. Two average performances (not terrible but also not great) and everyone’s on his back saying it’s a joke he’s ahead of Grimmer. The lads had two professional appearances. Chelsea (paying him £20k a week) and England’s youth system obviously see a lot on...

I’m associating with the wrong sort? What because I happen to be stood/sat in the same stand as someone who likes to fight at football matches? I’ve also never seen it at the Ricoh, but being a travelling fan, I’ve seen it many a time on the road. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was by the gates between stand and concourse. Between a big old bloke of about 50 and a young lad of about 22. Overheard someone say the old lad came up to him, asked him if he was (insert name), when he said yes the old lad started throwing punches. No idea if that’s the truth, just what I...

    Deadline day thread

Honest & genuine question, other thank Kyle Walker (one of the best right backs in world football) doing so during the summer, what else makes people think that Grimmer can play centre back? I really like Grimmer, more for his attacking abilities and willingness to run then to defend. He got...

Match Thread Coventry City at AFC Wimbledon Match Thread - Saturday 11th Aug

Not for me personally, was happy with how we were set up in 4-2-3-1. On another day we could have won it comfortably. Not saying we shouldn't change in the future, but personally saw enough to suggest that was a good set up for us.
