Would love to be full of optimism and say top 6 but I really think we'll struggle unless some of these 6 bodies Mowbrays talking about come to fruition. As it stands lower mid table finish. With a couple of well placed loans and a couple of strong CB signings, who knows, 10th upwards

Mowbrays here for the long haul, that I'm sure of. He seems to see something in us, you can tell he wants to be here for a while by the type of squad he's building, he's looking at 2,3,5 years in the future when signing players like Jones and Reid I'm more worried that we don't sign anyone...

I'd prefer us to sign young hungry uncovered gems from the lower leagues than round the houses unfit 40 year old donkeys that had 1 average season in the Prem 10 years ago.... Just personal preference like....

Just had a conversation with someone about this, and how with a thread bare squad it would be ridiculous to let him go, the fella said "well, what can you do" YOU COULD NOT BLOODY SELL HIM !!! He's under contract with us and we don't HAVE to sell every player we get an offer for, he'll go for...

To answer my own question in the OP, Now, now I'm concerned. First we had a load of targets, then we had a few targets but lost a few, now there's a couple of irons in the fire and we may have to offload players from already depleted squad to get in others, I can honestly see us missing out on...

It's not the point, the point is we're already 10 men down on last season, that's 10 men's worth of wages already freed up and season ticket sales up on last year. The point is how an earth can we be in a position to have to offload players when we're already in a position where we hardly have...

We're down to the bare bones, have nothing in the way of a squad an he wants to get rid of players to sign others ? Are we budget wise really in that dire straits ?
