As ever NW, an excellent well thought post. I cant honestly disagree with anything you have written, from where the rot began to the present day. There may be other scenarios and permutations, but what you have written could be a possible outcome.

A well written piece. I'm glad to come across someone with the faith in journalism that I have lost. I hold Gilbert and Reid in utter contempt, as rather than it being about the club its more often all about them. Lazy, crap journalism.

Perhaps he should that quote on the back of his next book, something like, Reda Johnson, 'I offered to shit on his face' What an endorsement that would be.
