Match Thread Coventry City vs Yeovil Town Match Thread - Monday 2nd Apr

Home win, and by some margin. Can see us really building up some momentum into the final run-in now. If we do thump Yeovil there will be such a feel good factor at the club as the sense builds we could be on for something really special.

Nouble Rot – TLS Match Report

There's lots of good boozers in north east Kent coast...gradually working my way round, Deal, Walmer and Sandwich are next....

    Football Lads Alliance (FLA)

I explained in the OP that I'd seen it in the news in the last day or so. I'd seen this group mentioned for the first time on this forum ages back, then in a couple of news articles over the course of the season. This thread was prompted by the article I'd seen and the fact it wasn't clear what...

    Shit Coventry players

I barely remember him....felt like he was on the bench but never played. Perhaps he was so crap it just seemed like he didn't play..... Jordan Stewart, from the first season in L1. Played towards the end of the season after signing on a free. Was so unmemorable I kept calling him Jermaine...

    Football Lads Alliance (FLA)

Has anyone on here had anything to do with the FLA? Sure I read a post from someone a while back saying they were going to one of their demos in London. A bit of Googling implies they're possibly a sort of front group for anti-Muslim types, but it's not really clear. I ask because the FLA has...

Nouble Rot – TLS Match Report

Go again now, it's full of craft beer, galleries, butiques and beards. Lots of London money due to people commuting to London from there. Nice spot.

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

We could have a similar budget if we'd made the right business decisions (past owners included in this). The fact is that Wasps bought the Ricoh fair and square - JR2 confirmed this. As well as the legal technicalities, there was clearly no problem with a council selling an asset to a party...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Obviously things are more important than our results that deserve more passion, family, work, life however court cases would be well below that list for pretty much any football fan...it depends if you see yourself first and foremost as a football fan or just as a member of the public who is...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

It's a bigger issue than results. The long term future of the club is always more important than short term results. I am sure even you would agree with that. If SISU had chosen a different path and behaved themselves, and we'd had a really successful time like e.g. Southampton, I wouldn't be...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Earlier on i was going to edit my first post of the morning by thanking you for taking a more reasonable approach with some civility. That no longer applies. I am not snakelike. Anyone who knows me will tell you i am an honest and sincere bloke. You've never met me, just taken exception to my...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

You went out of your way to start a thread strangely bragging about how you wouldn't go to watch them to then just try and defend them. What's all that about? I wasn't bragging, I was asking each other people's opinions. It wasn't meant to read in any other way. I'm not sure why you're...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Plase point out to me where I've said I consider myself a hero? Literally, I have never said that. Nor have I ever called for anyone to be harassed. If you think it's silly to be emotionally charged about something you care passionately about, then I think that's quite strange in itself. You...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Where did I say I was forming some kind of Wasps boycott? All I said was that I wasn't going to go - then I changed my mind. Ever changed your mind on anything? Or did you feel the need to ask permission from a web forum before doing so? As for right v wrong, I assume that you're absolutely...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Just to please you I've made a note for myself: "do not change your mind on anything without permission from angry twats on the internet", happy now? As for the three accounts you keep dragging up, wouldn't have needed more than 1 if you hadn't blocked me without warning, justification or...

Or I just changed my mind when faced with the prospect of spending a whole Sunday sitting in the rain within a short drive of the Ricoh with fuck all else to do.

How's that? Why are you calling me out as a bullshitter? Embarrassing behaviour by you. I went to all 92 league grounds, mostly as a neutral. Does that make me a bullshitter? I am aiming to go all the Guinness Premiership and county cricket grounds most of which would be as a disinterested...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

As in I wasn't there supporting Wasps or London Irish. Had hoped to sit in the south stand as that's the only Ricoh stand i've not sat in, but it was closed. Certainly wasn't cheering Wasps on, as i made clear in my OP of this thread i couldn't care less about them. I also needed to go to tick...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Yep. On that day it was better than the Barnet game 6 days later. The real difference is that the CCFC crowd seems much more negative and indifferent, Wasps fans more positive. Less swearing, less moaning, generally not a nasty/morose atmosphere. But as a Wasps neutral i won't be rushing back.
