    Not Really. Dividends are taxed now so there's hardly any If any at all difference between taking dividends and paying corp tax as opposed to paying a higher salary.

    Yes it is, so your average builder/plumber set up as at Ltd has say £50k profit in a year £40k of which is paid to him as dividends for his income, Labour come in and increase corporation tax to 26% and suddenly its £37k he's earning.
