Am I the eldest member of SBT at 72 ?

Just wondering what the ages are of some of the regular posters on SBT ? Just curious as some don't seem to grasp that at 72 and an OAP I am not as able as I would like to be now to go to away games. In my younger days, I went to every away game, even to Europe to support the Sky Blues in...

SISU has ripped the heart out of 8,000 supporters.

I think Nick is forgetting that I am nearly 72 and not a spring chicken -- at Highfield Road and the Ricoh I had a season ticket which made it much easier. I also had car parking arrangements near both grounds. Bristol is 46 miles away and Swindon is nearer, but at 72 I like to know where I am...

I live South Nick, no away teams anywhere near where I live (near Cheltenham)

SISU has ripped the heart out of 8,000 supporters.

I'm approaching 72 years of age, having been ever-present at CCFC since 1952 until this season. I live 37 miles from the Ricoh and 51 miles from Sixfields. Even if Sixfields was filled to capacity (7,000) it means that still deprives another 8,000 plus from watching CCFC even if they wanted...

    Borrow my calculator Timmy ?

Playing the way we are - 15,000 - 18,000 at the Ricoh Playing the way we are 1,500 - 2,500 at Sixfields And you're a business man ? Don't make me, as a potential investor, laugh !

    Question for All

No, I wouldn't. Even if Timmy's ridiculous dream of 7,000 was to happen, SISU is still depriving up to an addition 13,000 supporters plus from watching THEIR team. Why take Sky Blues to stadium that only holds 7,000 - it's like ripping the Souls out of the remaining loyal supporters (of whom I...

Throw down the gauntlet - make an offer

Estimated cost of a new 12,000 seater stadium - £25,000,000 - potential losses through playing at Sixfields - £10,000,000 plus. Total £35,000,000. Let's throw down the gauntlet to SISU and tell them to offer £30,000,000 for the Ricoh and benefit from financially in the future...

Question for those living outside of Coventry Re. the future of your support

I live 36 miles south of the Ricoh -- I wouldn't go to Sixfields even if I lived in Coventry (my City of birth) - probably 60 miles from where I live to Sixfields -- supporters outside Coventry were not even considered - I reckon a good 25% live outside Coventry at least, maybe as high as 50%.

Bob Ainsworth releases CCFC documents (OCTOBER 21, 2013)

Latest new evidence I cannot see Joy Sepalla losing any sleep following the release of the documents containing fresh evidence or Bob Ainsworth's performance in Parliament yesterday. However, I can see Paul Appleton having a "squeaky bum" time following this revalation of possible "errors"...

theres a game tonight - Orient Match Thread

Playing like this we'd be getting 15,000 plus at the Ricoh -- wake up ACL/CCC/SISU and smell the coffee !

Bob Ainsworth releases CCFC documents (OCTOBER 21, 2013)

Watched this live on Internet Stream. Thought Bob Ainsworth and Jim Cunningham put there points across brilliantly. Geoff Robinson waffled and said nothing of value although Bob Ainsworth did have a "pop" at him! Thought the Minister bluffed her way through her comments ! Bob stressed that he...

    New Capaign #BackCCC&ACL100%

You are wrong in my opinion -- they'd rather liquidate Otium and wipe CCFC off the face of the earth.

Is 'CovBackToRicoh' really a 'LetSisuHaveTheRicoh' Campaign?

I hate to say it, but I think this may be the only way out. If SISU don't own the Ricoh we are stuck with them and their tin-pot plans to build a new stadium and also stuck in Northampton for 5 years plus. I can't see any other alternative regretfully. I am not a SISU lover, the opposite in...

    Annoyance is Growing

Trying to be objective and realistic (bearing in mind I support NOPM and KCIC ) I feel the only way out of this is for ACL and CCC to sell the Ricoh to SISU - I don't want SISU as owners, but I think it is the only way out. If SISU owns the whole lot, hopefully they will then sell to someone...

    Commercial Suicide

Maybe Grendel, but most successful business people make mistakes (yep, I made a few I admit) but on this occassion it baffles me to know why Sisu appears to be throwing money down the drain when they could plug these losses by re-negotiating with ACL -- it's a game plan which makes no commercial...

    Commercial Suicide

As a now retired successful business man, having run my own companies for over 30 years, I cannot for the life of me understand Sisu Capital's wish to continue throwing investors money down the pan when a possibly cheaper alternative would be to re-negotiate with ACL. As an investor in stocks...

    City vs Wolves

Yep, I was there -- 54,000 in the ground, Wolves winning 1-0 at half time, but the glorious Sky Blues won 3-1 ! Amazing game and atmosphere -- just like Sixfields NOT !!!
