    Things that annoy you

There are people who do that? If there was a car that was obviously abandoned you could be forgiven, but dobbing in your neighbour??

Was recalling Rowan Atkinson's "Father of the bride" speech - must be downloadable somewhere! His description of Gerald is superb!

    Things that annoy you

People (particularly politicians) who start the answer to a question with "Look, ..."! Tony B Liar was a prime exponent of the art, but i still hate it!

    Things that annoy you

People who use the one-word term "Scenes". Just seen Lego-head refer to the debate in Parliament with the one word retweet! Hate it!

    Things that annoy you

People who say "the proof will be in the pudding". NO, NO, NO, NO, NOOOO!! The proof of the pudding will be in the eating. Fucking learn the correct idiom or don't use it at all!! Also somethings happens "across the piece", NOT "the piste". And something that is disorganised is "all over the...

Enjoy your holiday Rob - the CAA programme will get you home at more-or-less the same time (sadly for you!). Anyone who was due to fly from today will not be flying - but may well get their money back if they have got an ATOL or ABTA protected holiday (probably NOT if they booked a flight only)...

Yeah, i heard that - what a tosser (generally, but more specifically on this point!). It's no different to the government being asked to prop up BHS against an unscrupulous owner. Cannot set this precedent.

I think EasyJet have got it bang-on by removing the recline button. Their new slimmer seats give an inch or so extra legroom (it matters when you have a 33" inside leg!), and are perfectly comfy for a short-haul to Europe, etc.

    Arrests at matches last season

What does the table look like if they rank it by arrests per 100,000 attendees across the season? Bet we come out much worse due to lower crowds than them! And is this the whole of English football, EFL or League 1?

Don't they claim to absorbed a debt of around that? I don't recall the exact figure quoted. They'd want to recoup that, no doubt??

Yes, that may be the case, Clint, but the asking price would then be too high for the likes of Hoffman, Elliott, et al. £7.5 mill ain't gonna do it, is it? Are there that many billionaires waiting in the wings to snap us up for a cool 50 mill the day we get promoted? Doubtful!

I'm slightly surprised that being top of the league hasn't brought more people out of the woodwork and boosted the attendances at all - home following has been pretty much 5k since day one. How long until more people start going, i wonder?

Do you seriously believe that SISU will be more inclined to sell if we are more successful? They didn't even want to sell when we were in the fourth division! I think they are here for the long term, like it or not. But i agree with the comments about needing to ask Fisher (in particular) more...

    Player ratings (early)

Yes, that is true, as the highlights at that end of the pitch will generally only result in at least an attempt on goal. But since game one, i have noticed (by being at some of the games) the number of inaccurate passes in and around the box by Mason, McFadz and Rose (in particular).
