This thread is supposed to be about the game - can we all keep the bickering to other threads please. How is the game going (obviously I'm not there)

Don't want to jinx it but I've got a good feeling about tonights game. Jones in goal, Pennington to press forward from the back, Williams to link Barton and Fleck to the front. Just hoping Phillips is up to a full game.

    Webster out Pennington in

I think Phillips is back in as well - he was playing with Pennington in the Walsall match. This should be very interesting. Walsall was our last win, Webster was back in straight after and we conceded 6 goals in the next two games! If we play well tonight and Webster is back in on Saturday then...

    Scunny game

You watch, they will play a blinder with Pennington at CB and next week Webster will be back and it will be back to square 1

    Webster out Pennington in

Be interesting to see if they can repeat the performance against Walsall. Also be interesting if they do pull off an inspired performance whether Webster will get his place back again.

19th - 2 teams below us have a game in hand. If they both won their games we could go into the relegation zone (depending on GD) :-( 9 points off a play-off place

    50m investment at Bristol city

Actually I think that is the first sensible thing I have seen RFC say. BTW I think he meant if he had 50 million (not billions). Football is not a good bet when investing money. Ask SISU!

So who was it who decided you SISU suck-up artists have won his one then?

    hell will freeze over...

Not sure what you mean by that bit Nick, but I don't think they overly played to the fans. I must admit I was a little shocked when ACL was sold to WASPS - but in the cold light of day, when you think of the position that ACL/CCC were left in - I see why they did it. Have a good think about that...

    hell will freeze over...

No. It was obvious that the council would try to make out that they didn't need the team there to make a profit while SISU were Illegally withholding rent. On another note - what are SISU doing presenting notes from a council meeting? Sneaky bastards. Truth is I don't like the council. BUT I...

Council admits Ricoh Arena was not sustainable without CCFC

Why do you always show that photo of Nick Eastwood that looks like he has just put his finger through the toilet paper?

Council admits Ricoh Arena was not sustainable without CCFC

The true analog is someone owing the lease to a house with a mortgage on it and depending on sub-tenants rent to pay the mortgage. The tenant stops paying rent in hope that the house will be repossessed and they will get it at a bargain price. Next - the landlord re-finances the mortgage to...

Council admits Ricoh Arena was not sustainable without CCFC

Don't blame her for lying at all. SISU withholding the rent meant the council had their backs to the wall. You have to fight fire with foire in those circumstances. SISU were gunning for the freehold as Sepalla stated quite clearly herself in the CET article. SISU got outmanoevred in the end and...

    Swindon Match Thread

Be interesting to see if Reda and Pennington play who will be CB/RB and who will organise the back line. Could there be a clash of personalities?

Either 0-0 or lose by one or two goals. Pressley will go back to the old formation, we will make very few chances but probably keep a clean sheet.

Is your town a coventry city stronghold ?

I was born in Cov but now live in Nuneaton. There are a fair few cov fans here but I wouldn't call it a Cov stronghold. 3 or 4 miles down the road is Hinckley (Leicestershire) where they seem to be mainly Leicester fans.
