    Ding ding - round 2

Don't hold your breath. As above, SISU's only route to what they want, i.e. a load of compo and Wasps folding, is through a total victory in court and this won't be reached via a mediated settlement. Expect everything to proceed as planned in May.

    Ding ding - round 2

So the judges think mediation will work......shows how much they've been following events. For SISU, the legal process is merely a means of breaking Wasps and acquiring the Ricoh for as little as possible. They have no interest in a mediated agreement, only the outright victory that winning the...

    Ex Player Watch

You aren't the bloke who, at the end of one of our games when he was with us, raced down to the front of the stand when he was talking to some kids, got his attention, and screamed in his face "you're the worst f**king player we've ever had Murphy, f**k off!" leaving him embarrassed and gutted...

See my question above. I think tomorrow may affect the format and content of the May hearing.

    Ricoh deal done?

Don't hold your breath. I reckon the case will go ahead as announced. If a deal had been done with the council and Wasps on the Ricoh including a cessation of legal action, no way would Wasps and the council be going to court tomorrow.

    Crowd today

But I think Grendel is right, above. If it was cheaper, those paying more now would obviously pay less and still turn up, meaning the club got less revenue. Meanwhile, very few extra fans would be attracted, meaning little extra revenue....so overall, the club would be out of pocket. That's why...

Match Thread Coventry City - Crawley Town Match Thread - Saturday 25th Nov

I think I read somewhere that in a typical game, the ball is only in play for about 60 minutes. So you probably lost even more than 30-35 mins on Sat.

    Port Vale - Boxing Day

Depends who you work for....given your history of watching games involving the likes of Roger Hunt and Ian St John, I guess you are retired?

Well yes..., it's useful for bringing in money to spend on essential living costs as well as leisure activities.

    Port Vale - Boxing Day

I find that once you throw in something to eat at the ground, a bit of lunch (i.e. more than the chippy), 8-10 pints with the lads, taxi to the ground or station on many occasions, you do not come out with change for £100.

    Ricoh deal done?

In which case, why turn up at the court? Why not call the proceedings off altogether?

Sounds like a good reason to go, not a good reason to stay!

    Ricoh deal done?

You have to say, when they're off in court again it does make you think that a fresh 10 year deal sounds a bit unlikely. Still, we live in hope.

    Ding ding - round 2

There must be some excuse to hold it though, a pretext if you will. Maybe it's something to do with the format of the May hearing. I suspect there won't be much exciting news tomorrow.
