Nah mate I do mean Chapel St Leonards. I've been to all of the places on that stretch of coast including the likes of Ingoldmells, Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe, Cleethorpes and of course Skegvegas!

I'm expecting too. Expecting us to get turned over! I live less than 5 mins walk from the Struggs and the Victoria, both very good boozers although the Struggs in aprticular gets busy. Both are a bit of out of the way. Nearer the ground, the Treaty of Commerce is a decent independent pub and...

    FA Cup Draw - Tonight - 7PM

On the plus side, if we can force our way past Borehamwood, that sets us up for a potential glamour tie in round three. At that point we draw Tranmere at home....snore. If it goes to a replay then Meadow Park is an OK ground, went there last season to see Lincoln in the FA Trophy, it is no...

Match Thread Coventry City - West Bromwich Albion U21 Match Thread - Tuesday 7th Nov

I almost decided to go to this one, combining it with the Supply Chain & Logistics Summit 2017 which is being staged at the Exhibition Hall during the day - my company has a stand so this could have been a truly scintillating double header of "business and pleasure". Instead I decided to take a...

    FA Cup Draw - Tonight - 7PM

....and the tension is bearable. That said, I've got a couple of Cov-supporting mates who watch Maidstone as live down there, they are both well up for it if we draw them. Did he show her a good time?

Why do you think they never built the new stadium? They knew Wasps would get into trouble and that acquiring the Ricoh from them, or at least a share of it, woild be far cheaper than the prospect of building a new ground.

SISU 10th Anniversary @ CCFC approaching

The activity that would get the most participation would be to ask about 7k fans to turn up to the home game, sit slumped in their seats in a quiet state of passive apathy for 90 mins, then shrug and slink off home to moan to the wife. We'd have 100% participation in that particular form of protest.

No, the perfect scenario is we win the league and are bought out by a mega rich Saudi prince.

Have you got a link to that please? There seem to be plenty of credulous types on the Facebook page in particular ready to believe him. I'm not dismissing him outright. If the ex-chairman of Visa, who, let's face it, is in a position to know, says someone has got the money they claim to have...

SISU 10th Anniversary @ CCFC approaching

Anyone got any bright ideas about how we can help Joy celebrate 10 glorious years at our club, which comes round in a few weeks? Perhaps we can finally get round to erecting that statue of her outside the ground. Or maybe we could send her a card with a paper insert listing all the great...

    Dale Evans .......

Yes you couldn't make it up. I have no idea why anyone is taking this remotely seriously. £50m??????????????? Did someone strike gold or oil underneath the Ricoh? Wasps bought it for less than £5m 3 years ago, how has it increased in value by 1000% in that time? And you think £150-£200m is...

    Dale Evans .......

Agreed - we've had a lot of prospective white knights over the years and been let down so many times. It's no surprise that our understandably jaundiced and cynical fanbase seem to have reached a consensus view of "we'll believe it when we see it" rather than giving someone the benefit of the...

Would promotion be a good thing under SISU?

Never mind the value bit, the point of a football team is to succeed on the pitch and get promoted up the leagues. If not then what's the point?

Would promotion be a good thing under SISU?

Of course promotion would be a good thing, regardless of the owners!
