    Speedboat killer

His defence barrister in the extradition hearing in Georgia was saying that he shouldn't be extradited to UK because what he was found guilty of isn't an offence in Georgia! Bizarre way to manage justice!

    Speedboat killer

Manslaughter by gross negligence. The boat was in poor condition, and he just let her take the controls with no instruction. She lost control and smacked into a bridge pier. He's a c**t! Get him back here and let justice be served!

    It's just banta innit

In the face of a rising tide of reputational damage, a 70,000 signature petition, and pressure from Heads of Departments and Matt Western (MP for Warwick & Leamington), the Vice Chancellor has confirmed just now that the two students "will NOT be returning to the University". He doesn't say that...

    It's just banta innit

One of the Provost's mealy-mouthed justifications for that timing was that the named victims would have finished her studies by then. What if she wished to stay on to study for a PhD or something? It would effectively be discriminating against her ability to make that decision. It's all a...

    It's just banta innit

It's NOT fucking banter (I hate that word too, FWIW) - it is fucking offensive and abhorrent reprehensible behavior. It IS an offence under the Public Order Act, and they should be sent to fucking prison for it. THEN they'll understand what rape is all about, stupid little mummy's boys!! I work...

    Rugby league World cup 2021

I was a bit surprised by BBC CWR having a complete wank-fest over Cov being a "host city" of RLWC2021. It's one fucking match of what is (around here at any rate) a minority sport. They were talking like it was the FIFA world cup final!

    Things that annoy you

Kenilworth Town Council (or it may be Warwick DC who are responsible) get a mechanical road-sweeper to do the gutters, etc at least once a week, again in rush hour, again the busiest routes. Gets on my tits!

Maybe, but it is keeping women safe while on the metro.

    Energy Suppliers.

The problem i found with Green Energy Network was that they only bill you quarterly and never read the meter, so it made it a bit difficult to budget and check if you were on track. Cheap though. Oh, and i ain't getting a smart meter either - waste of time and money.

Tweddle suing makers of "The Jump" for neck injury

It might be that they are not being provided with adequate levels of information, instruction, training and supervision to establish competence, as is required by H&S law. The few times i've seen it, it was more a case of the contestants saying "oh why not, let's give it a go!". I'd be very...

Tweddle suing makers of "The Jump" for neck injury

As I understand it from the report, C4 deny all liability. Tweddle says they have tried to settle it amicably, but the back story is she will only be bringing this case now due to the 3 year limit for claims of negligence (although her ongoing neck problems could possibly extend that, if the...

Tweddle suing makers of "The Jump" for neck injury

Disclaimers rarely stand up in court these days Dave. It's down to the court to decide whether the claim passes the tests required to demonstrate negligence:- 1. Was the claimant owed a duty of care by the defendant? 2. Was that duty of care breached? 3. Did the breach of the duty of care result...

Tweddle suing makers of "The Jump" for neck injury

I see on the Beeb that former gymnast and now mum-to-be (yes, really!) Beth Tweddle is suing the makers of C4 programme "The Jump" for injuries sustained when she hit a barrier on landing back in 2016. They have failed to agree a settlement out of court, so she has issued proceedings against...

The OVO figure of 3% was what was in place when I was with them a few years back. Amazing that it's gone up further! Now with Utility Warehouse for EVERYTHING: Gas, electric, landline, mobile and broadband. I think they can do a deal with Sky too, but I just use my old TalkTalk youview box for...
