    Things that annoy you

Its all over the telegraph today about the lad on the quad bike. On the Binley road they put flowers out every yearwhere a kid on a stolen bike got killed 20 years or so ago.

    Things that annoy you

People being made out to be Martyrs when they've crashed stolen motor bikes or crashed them driving dangerously and died as a result. Just be grateful they've not killed anyone else with their thoughtless actions.

Caludon Castle (and other school) Memories

I remember Mr Maddox giving another teacher a blackeye after they played 5 a side in the lower gym one lunchtime. I was in Mr Chima's first class when he started. He retired a year or two ago having taught my kids. He's also related to Juggy of CWR fame. Mr Taggart the music teacher is still...

Caludon Castle (and other school) Memories

I was at Cally 1982-1987. Chester and Morgan houses. Mr Inness was the headmaster. I remember 'Piggy' Wilkes, Ned Reynolds, Jaws and loads of others. My Kids are there now and its strange when you go to parents evening and see some of your old teachers. We were in the 5th year when girls...

I went to that Newcastle game. Went on the SBA coach and was on an all dayer. Got hammered and came out of the pub about 6 ish and all the goerdies were taking the piss as it'd got called off (they were playing Man U at the weekend and wanted to beat them). Met sir John Hall and Freddie...

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

My parents had no interest in football at all. My Uncle took me to a game for my 4th birthday in 1975. I think it was against Birmingham. He bought me a scarf too which I still have although it has a couple of rips now. Its been to Wembley 3 times too and still comes out occasionally for the odd...

Villa park St Valentines day (4-2) and Liverpool away when we won 2-1 (James dropped the ball for Dublin to score in the last few minutes) on a Sunday were two of my very best away games. Having said that I'd still rather go to all of the smaller grounds that we're at now than get bombarded with...

I only need to go to 14 more. Hopefully 9 to be done this season including saturday. I suppose its one of the only good things about dropping through the leagues (if there is anything good about it) I've seen us win at some point or other at all but 13 (I think) of the grounds that I've been to...
