Taking kids on holiday during term time

I've had stats come from my own kids schools showing a direct correlation of absenteeism and dropping results from kids. They all push for kids to be in school as that's where they're supposed to be when its open to maximise their chances of learning. Saving a couple of hundred quid on a holiday...

Taking kids on holiday during term time

Doubt its to do with rich vs poor with regards to reading ability in holiday times. More to do with parents ensuring that their kids do some reading instead of sitting on games consoles all day when they're off school. Rich or poor doesn't come into it, parenting does.

How many away grounds have you done with CCFC?

I remember playing wigan in the cup away when it was pissing down and loads of people kept slipping over on the grass verge trying to get to the little shelter they had on the top of the verge. It was a true shithole.

Stoke interested in Chris Camwell - Camwell Signs New Contract Thread!

This is good news for us and him in my opinion. He'd probably be sitting in the reserves stagnating at Stoke and end up going backwards whilst he could well play a fair few first team games for us this season getting better all the time. WIN WIN in my eyes.

    Offers in for Ryan Haynes

I can never understand the attraction of defenders that can't defend. As for his 27 games last season, I think that had Stokes been fit then Haynes could well have been let go in the January window as he'd have hardly go any game time. To say that Stokes is slow based on one game when he'd just...

    Your own new political party

Loads of reasons Grendel, 50 inch Tellys, Latest smartphones, and not forgetting 20 fags a day are staples of peoples lives now. Book Recommendations

I really enjoy any of Bernard Cornwell's books. Picked one up for a pound in Matalan a few years back and got hooked on them. They're fiction but based on historical facts.
