    Villa

My point was "never forgiving" the fans..... It wasn't their fault. And what do you expect from football fans.... as dislikeable as Man Utd fans are, they (and we) will milk any victory regardless.

    Villa

This is pretty pathetic imo...... if the boot was on the other foot, do you not think City fans would've milked a dubious win? "can't ever forgive..." :D i think you'd have died of grief at Villa Park when they were singing "some day, we'll meet again...." at us (i can't understand City...

    Villa

Being born in the early 80's, Villa was always the big one for me growing up.... and still would be now. I never really support other English clubs in Europe, but if pushed, i'd sooner see Villa do well than the likes of the "big 6" (although i thought/said that about Leicester when they were...

    GMK

I remember Knowl loudly admonishing Carl Baker for his poor performance at one of the Northampton home games.... which could obviously be heard by all and sundry due to the low numbers.... 30 seconds later he scored an overhead kick (and came over for a quick word with him!)

    The next 4 games

Preston are a bogey team, and Luton (like us) haven't become a crap side overnight..... So i'd agree 7 points would be good. Would imagine we'll slip up in one of the other two "easier" games though, and probably end up with 6.

For those who were there at the start of it all

The sad thing is, if we ever do get promoted, it will likely be the end for Robins within 6 months. The clamour for change when we're getting pasted most weeks would be deafening.

I'm still around from Rivals/GMK days.

For those who were there at the start of it all

I'd say Wolves was our best moment since departing the Premier League.

    Sheffield Wednesday fan

I assume we're all fine about Sunderland "tarring us with the same brush" over events in recent years then....... They've clearly got a problem in the fanbase, and it appears to be pretty vocal...... but its still a minority.

    Graham Potter

The fans aren't starting to turn though are they.... Its just the same idiots who wanted a change at roughly this same point in the previous two seasons.

To those who want Robins gone now

Its quite a relief that people with your breath-taking level of stupidity aren't making the decisions at the top of CCFC

Exactly..... Today isn't our battle and anything better than a defeat is a bonus. Get him in and get minutes in his legs.

If Wasps publicly declared they wanted to buy CCFC

Liverpool "fan" from Bedworth. Started supporting Wasps when they moved in and were doing well on the pitch. Started following City once we started moving up the leagues.... now a City season ticket holder. Thinks putting PUSB at the end of every facebook post excuses 30+ years of supporting...

Match Thread Coventry City - Swansea City Match Thread - Saturday 21st Sep

It really is classic football fandom. Yes its a very poor start.... but history says we'll turn something around, and even if we have a "bad season" we'd likely finish no lower than mid-table. I can't believe people think returning to a cycle of booting managers out after a bad run of results...

    Running

Midland 6-Stage Road Relays today in Sutton Park. 5.9km, quite hilly. I'm running opening leg for our B team, needing an excellent run to propel myself into contention for the first team for the National in a fortnight. (on the assumption that our first team will qualify, and our B team won't)...

    Running

Just got the details for the race in Sicily. Basically starting at the cable car/funicular station, then going up 4.5 km towards the very summit. Average gradient 22%, max gradient 39%, and finishing at over 2900mtrs (gulp) Will struggle to train specifically for this, in terms of both...

    Running

Yes its on Etna. The Champs are based in Nicolosi, which is about 10 miles outside of Catania on the way up to Etna, but my race (the Uphill) will be on the north side of the mountain. Also planning to get to Puglia and Sardinia next year too (although more for pleasure than for running on...
