Best recent concert was on Wednesday, Saw Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow at the NEC. Great show, Ritchie still has it! In the past I've seen all Specials, The Beat, Madness, Duran Duran, The Who, The Stones, Purple, Whitesnake and many more, but the best of all, Queen at Knebworth in 86.

One of my abiding memories of George was whilst camping out overnight at Highfield road before the FA Cup Final waiting to buy tickets. Some kids had decided a game on the hallowed turf would be a good idea. They were turfed off by a couple of stewards but as soon as the stewards disappeared...

A wonderful day, a great result and memories to last a lifetime. I was lucky enough to see Cov play at the old Wembley twice in 1987. Being there with my son just made the day more magical.
