Snow nostalgia - who remembers this game?

I have that trouble with the orange one. God knows how I manage to play cricket. An Aussie cricketer can't play day night test matches as they use a pink ball which he can't see.

Snow nostalgia - who remembers this game?

I remember taking my younger cousin who was about 6 at the time to this one. We were bottom or very near the bottom at the time and just battered them. It stopped him even thinking about Man U or Liverpool as the team to support.

Snow nostalgia - who remembers this game?

That was the game where Emmerson's career was effectively done by that prick Megson.

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

He's top quality. Good at winning the ball. Good at passing and moves the ball forward pretty quickly. Also looks after the ball well when in possession. If he keeps progressing at his current rate then he'll be in the premier league within 2 seasons.

    George Thomas

I thought he looked to weak physically and mentally earlier in the season, as did most of the team. He's come back in and looks a lot stronger and better mentally prepared now.

    John Solako

He did. Me and my mate went to see him play. Think it might have been the game where Barnes got boo'd by England fans. Personally. I thought he was ok as a winger due to his lack of real pace but he could put in a half decent cross. Just checked and he was in the squad whilst with us but never...

    Eakinballs

Just gobbing off and acting a prick from the sidelines and arrogance beyond the realms of reality.

    Eakinballs

Many years ago me and my mate were in Fatty Arbuckles and saw Benno sleazing up some blonde on the dancefloor. We went up to them and gave it the full Bennooo Bennooo Bennooo for about a minute. She stomped off and he was non too pleased. A few years later I was playing cricket against...

    Graham Taylor

That's a shocker. Really come out of the blue. I really liked him and thought that he was unfairly given a really hard time after he took on the England job.

    U2-Joshua Tree

Was this the one where they were supported by The Twang at the old Dome nightclub? Hup is one of my favourite albums.

Lose the Gut Thread (Following on from New Year's Resolution)

Went out on my bike and did 22 miles today. Building it up bit by bit and feeling better for it already.

Did that one and Bizzaro. Also saw Peter Hook and the light doing Bortherhood and Lowlife on the same night last year. Wonder Stuff Hup! was another and is one of my favourite albums.

Fantasy Sky Blues Talk Sunday League XI

Wouldn't have Gilbert in the team. He'll go missing for long periods when questions are asked!

    Northampton away

It did kick off with a group of younger Northampton fans. I think one of theirs got attacked at the FA cup game and they were looking for a bit of revenge. Can see there being a bit again next week.
