Trail races are fine, they are generally not too technically difficult, but obviously moreso than running on the road, which to a lot of people makes it more interesting. You probably need to run with a shorter stride due to the ground being a little trickier, you can't always necessarily...

That was nothing to do with the comment. The point made was that we (apparently) have a huge fanbase compared to Leicester. We are similar sized cities and have vaguely similar historical attendances, give or take a coupe of thousand. The fanbases are pretty similar.

It depends how far you want to travel. I use sientries.co.uk although it is more biased towards fell/trial/orienteering. However you can filter it to road races and geographical area. I'd just throw a few google searches in there as well, "half marathon UK February" and so forth, you're sure...

Its a good draw. Hillsborough is one of the best away days, and a chance for a big allocation. Clearly its dampened by having played them recently, and again shortly before the cup tie. But it could have been a lot worse.

To be fair, despite the rivalry, it was quite cordial between the main Leicester and Cov forums in the past.... used to be a semi-regular football match between a lot of the regulars.
