Used an inflation thing. Face value ticket (£6) would now be worth £16.50ish. Bargain. My ticket was the equivalent of £124 today. Sell worth it though.

Me, I was 21. Ticket cost me - well, my Dad - £45 from a bloke at the pub in Southam. Imagine what £45 is nowadays. I cannot remember why we had to do this though as I was a STH even back then. Three of us went down and I was the only one who had a ticket. Got the train from Cov station...

    Parking Weds Night

Not going Wednesday but went a week ago. We parked in Middlesborough Premier Inn Central Car Park, which is free after six (in white bays). Just around the corner in Wilson Street there was a large cheapish NCP car park, which looked pretty big. Saw a lot of Middlesborough fans parked there...

    Trouble at the game!

I don't have empathy with that at all. We are in the mess we are basically because of pricks in our own fanbase. Not sitting in the proper seat, using JSB season tickets. Classic case of a few ruining it for everyone else.

And by us the gangways were full of people sitting down. No one could get past. God knows what would have happened in an emergency. stewards just ignored it.

    Trouble at the game!

On the way in they were using those metal detector things, which they've used before. Today the steward insisted I take my car keys out of my pocket to show him what was in there. Madness. To cap it all, having a lower attendance than the Birmingham game was an absolute joke. Surely, this...

    Trouble at the game!

The stewards who were standing around directing people to take the only path they could walk on made me laugh. Jesus. Like many I've travelled to loads of away grounds, this season and previous, and we are the absolute worst for OTT segregation both inside and outside the ground. And, who...

    Trouble at the game!

Notice the new fences by the A444 too. We park off Hen Lane at John Shelton, so we always walk down the A444 on the stadium side, take the shortcut up the grass verge then over the footbridge. They've fenced off the gap now. I have no idea why they inconvenience the home support at this...

Bollocks to Blackpool and their £150. Life is full of disappointments, lads. This will be the first of many.

Boro AWAY Play-off Semi tickets 17th May

Pah. I'm not going to this. Son starts college Monday, so we couldn't be late back and, to be honest, I couldn't be arsed after doing the journey on Monday/Tuesday. I nearly got there, but wife shouted "don't you dare!".

Yep, as long as we do alright out of it though, then fair enough.

    Gyokeres to West ham?

Wilson and Maddison did it the right way, using their next club as a stepping stone to bigger things. Personally, I don't think he's Premier quality yet as he misses a hell of a lot of chances, but whoever he signs for in the Premier will have much better players and that will raise his game...
