We have been linked with lower league goalkeepers a lot recently. Which i think is better. Look at Luton how many of their players were people being released by clubs and dropping down the league. If we start taking lower leagues better players that surely outlines intent for promotion.

Given the quality we have already i'm quite excited for next season. We are not far off a being a very very good team so i imagine with 5 or 6 quality signings we could be a force to be reckoned with.

Chaplin came on today and lost the ball from their bloke leaning on him, He is too lightweight to be a striker. What most small strikers lack in height they make up for in pace and finishing but i don't think i have seen either trait displayed by chaplin

Exactly so why bother playing him in games he clearly has no great desire to be in. I want players to play for that shirt and want it.

I can’t be the only one who thinks he’s gone backwards recently. I will never understand why he constantly stops mid run. He didn’t look bothered today. Personally think his head is in another place. I can’t be the only one surely? Was brilliant middle of the season but has lost his spark.

The league has quite clearly been strong this year. The top 5 teams are all 15+ points clear of 6th that is how good they have all been. The fact Sunderland aren’t top shows the quality of this league this year!

I really don’t think that’s fair on him. He’s rarley deployed in centre mid so hasn’t had the chance to win the ball back often. Shame he’s often thrusted in when we need a goal which I find bizarre at times but sounds like he was quality yesterday

Its the way they try and get the last laugh. Like the world cup for example where they were all laughing when we went out even though they didn't make it to Russia!

He was one of my favourite players last season and was a massive help with my Podcast. Personally i hope he stays has not had a chance to prove himself at league one level. With a decent run of games he is championship quality.
