    Meltdown

Bar Lincoln and Luton the home run in is against lower league teams If I remember but that doesn’t bode well given our performances against those below so far.... Others will faulter too and Notts County, Exeter and Luton are all more inconsistent since Xmas..

    Meltdown

Spot on again. We all have optimism and hope that’s why we go but the trends can’t be ignored and I too expect defeat on Tuesday. Colchester 13/8 to beat us which is very generous...

What needs to be done for Colchester?

Agreed. We also need to stop leaking goals so easily....we have built this season on a solid defence and clean sheets....that has disappeared but the personnel has, on the whole, been the same.

Be interested to know which comments you disagree with then because all you seem to be doing is portraying hope over anything else....look at the hard facts and come back mate..

Bit of a juvenile response that. A forum is for sharing opinions and airing off frustrations and all I see is some valid points and obvious concerns....

    Meltdown

I respect your optimism and I hope you are correct but for me this is going to be a dog fight until season end and this lot don’t seem ready for that. Tuesday needs an away win for me so let’s see how they bounce back because Mansfield Away is the next league game after that...

    Meltdown

Disagree, it’s the nature of how lost yesterday and the week before and I don’t think we will bounce back this time... We were a difficult team to beat, it has been our ‘thing’ all season....we aren’t difficult to beat now and we let goals in pretty much every game after countless clean sheets...

    Throwing the season away

Shipley was dreadful, wrong decision or poor execution time and time again yesterday.

    Really? Did you go yesterday?

Fair point. Brighton score very few goals so Sat could be their chance...

    Throwing the season away

Colchester, Mansfield and then Lincoln, it isn’t inconceivable that we could lose all 3... 7 pts return needed, 3 more likely. As for Brighton, play anything like yesterday next week and it could be 3/4-0.

    Throwing the season away

I think the underlying thought for many is that we know what’s coming and as Otis rightly pointed out, there is a very real fear that we could slide and never be seen again.... Given that consistent decline that isn’t an unrealistic possibility.....I think most of us have been more than patient...

Match Thread Coventry City vs Accrington Stanley Match Thread - Saturday 10th Feb

Ok not having it about the owners today.... That was just abject, passionless, no plan, no composure, no Doyle, no leadership, no home advantage....no nothing. That was a relegation performance and it goes against most of what we have produced this season.....they weren’t anything special at...

Article about the first game at the Ricoh and Doyle kicking off!

First crowd was 23,000. Yeh Ibiza, was trouble for the whole stay and they fancied trying to have a go at City cos they outnumbered us. Was lots of lads out there for the crack....Never liked QPR tbh, some proper kick offs with them in the 80’s and 90’s.
