It’s equally premature with EMC and BTA, they’ve played almost exactly the same number of minutes. Why deliver a verdict on one and not the other?

Not really fussed about young loan signings - we’re not going up or going down, would rather let our own young players get the match experience than someone else’s. If we want to sign some experienced players on loan to teach our squad some new tricks then I’m all for it.

I wouldn’t expect instant success with him (same as I feel about Lampard) and there’s every chance it would go badly wrong (ditto) but if your brief is to find a “Head Coach” who will instil a clear football philosophy in the team, then Martin fits that better than any of the rumoured names we...
