Right who's the next manager then?

I’ve seen one article saying Lampard is the favourite. Although I think it’s the right time to part ways with Robins based on Lampards managerial abilities and achievements I can’t help but think what was the point in sacking Robins if you’re going to replace him with Lampard.

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

It’s not a shock. It’s a shame because of his achievements but the time feels right. Always believed he could pull us out of slumps and get us to overachieve in the past but it just felt different this time so I think it’s the right decision.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Ahh. The memories of the “out means out” chanting from the remain camp. I think they coined “we know what we voted for” and “we hold all the cards because of French cheese” phrases too. I’m sure I must be remembering that right from your claims.

So UK official current unemployed number is 1.4 million of which you’re claiming 4.3 million are on the sick. Where are you getting these numbers from again?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Why doesn’t it? You’re getting triggered by people being too unwell to work. I can’t believe that you’ve never been close to someone who has cancer and seen what they’ve gone through. And as I’ve already said. That’s just one illness in hundreds and hundreds that can quite justifiably be reason...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

And we’re talking about one illness out of hundreds and hundreds that legitimately and justifiably keep people from working.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I don’t know how came to that conclusion, I never said anything remotely like that. Maybe you’re over compensating and over critically thinking and adding your own context.

More than likely. Just on cancer for instance, just because you’ve stopped receiving treatment doesn’t mean you’re recovered. My mother is a bowel cancer survivor, she was diagnosed 2 years before retirement, had 18 months of work and went back for the last 6 months part time. I only found out...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well, again. To put that into some sort of context if you take just one serious illness, say cancer, over 3 million people (and rising) in the UK have cancer at any given time. The majority of which are working age. That’s just one serious illness that I would think justifies not being able to...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I’m guessing the key word there is full time I.e. they’re not unemployed they’re just not working full time. UK unemployment figures are currently at about 1.4 million for comparison.

Match Thread Coventry City - Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Tuesday 1st Oct

Thank fuck for that is all I can say. I don’t think we’ve needed 3 points so badly we were relegated from league 1. Hopefully we can build on that now, I don’t think my nerves can take another 2016/17 season.

They rank well in the CP index, 5th. We rank 23rd. Interestingly though Denmark rank first but there politicians earn pretty much the same as ours. Their ministers and PM earn more I think but it does tell you something about the mentality of their politicians vs ours.

Again. So? I thought this was a point of principle for you, not a point of policy? Boris delivered nothing he pledged so I’m not sure that’s a rabbit hole you want to go down.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Again. So? I thought your issue was people buying influence through donations to an MP. The Goldsmiths paid for Boris’s holidays, Carrie never paid for her wardrobe either, Boris got free hospitality at sporting events etc etc. Same as May, same as Cameron etc etc etc. He’s not doing anything...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

There’s an article in the London Economic pointing out that Boris took more in freebies to decorate his flat than Starmer has taken since being leader of the Labour Party (2019) so I don’t think that’s remotely true. Is it a good look for Starmer that he’s taken as much as he has? No...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

You don’t suppose all the bat shit crazy things he spouts every time he opens his mouth has anything to do with the balance? Let’s face it, he very clearly needs facts checking far more than the rest of the political spectrum simply because he has bullshit Tourette’s, he can’t open his mouth...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Which is why I mentioned debt separately and it’s the same story. Our debt as a percentage of GDP is lower than the majority of western countries including the US. Debt and spending is not what drove inflation in UK more than other countries, especially in Europe. The trade barriers we placed...
