No. McNally is a decent CB at this level but he wouldn't improve our defence. He's not great on the ball and I'd say he works better in a three rather than a flat back four. He was pretty poor by all accounts last season for Stoke.

If you actually look on their forum the Gyokeres link isn't even really taken that seriously. His agency does tend to work in overdrive so all the links and rumours have probably been instigated from their end.

To be fair I've looked at their forum and it seems that McNally or Esteve (thought he signed this season) could also be off as well. With Humphries being a LCB and Worrall a RCB they could well be right as the rest of their CBs bar Beyer are probably not considered starters.

Really don't understand this. They play a back four and already have Delcroix, Beyer, McNally, Al-Dakhil, Ekdal, O'Shea, Estève and Humphries in the CB position.
