    Things that annoy you

It's just development of the frontal lobe. Happens to all of us. Twice. This is why grandparents are so nice. They remember their kids going through normal growing up, and also recalling that they themselves, as parents struggled with it. Grandparents have the wisdom of age to see it's...

    The holiday 2023 thread

Just booked for next March. Any tips would be greatly appreciated (apart from the cocktail bar, already on the list).

I tend to agree, but it's a bit rich for us in the UK to lecture others about their electoral system when ours is itself such a mess. 60% of the seats with 34% of the vote is an insult to the majority of the electorate.

Prince and The Revolution: Live: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001mpgh via @bbciplayer I must admit, I was somewhat on the fence about Prince. But after watching this, fucking hell, the man was a genius. The bastard son of Freddie Mercury and Brian May. Godparents: Liberace and James Brown.

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Yep. Pains me to say it as I'm a fan of Ben Wheatley. Just watched episode 2, the satire is too heavy and the plot isn't great. Any recommendations for someone with Netflix and standard streaming only (can't be arsed with a stick)?

Be interesting to see who they've replaced him with. Offshore Jim seems to have prioritised cost-cutting at OT.

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Just started Generation Z (Channel 4). Not a great first episode, but as it's Ben Wheatley I will persevere. Been to the picture house to see Venom this afternoon. Honestly, don't fucking bother. It's awful.

    Ball carrying centre halves

I really really want Kitching to come good. I know I'm in the minority, but I think there's a decent player there.

    Referee

As has been mentioned before, we all see a different game in the same stadium. I was still fuming about the Simms let off for the Luton lad, and probably had my sky blue tinted glasses on. Still think it was harsh though.

    Robins Out Poll pt3

The absolute joy showing after the third, the willingness/desire to share it with the fans was beautiful to see. Apropos of nothing, I'm loving being in safe standing. So much more exciting than block 25.

    Referee

I reckon he knew he'd fucked up when he didn't give a yellow for the Simms pull back. Thought he was going to lose it after the Kitching booking (underserved), but he was much better in the second half.

    Luton player ratings

Binks - 2 Adebayo -11 Proper old school needle between those two. I knew that spat in the first half wouldn't be the end of it. Good to see a City player happy to mix it but not get booked (looking at you LK).

Match Thread Coventry City - Luton Town Match Thread - Saturday 26th Oct

The back 5 that finished today must surely start the next game. Rudoni might be a bit inexperienced there, but with Binks inside, it feels like a no brainer to me. Kitching is not the answer as wing back.

Weather looks decent too. I expect to see a few faces familiar from the CBS down there Saturday. Is the Dyer's still closed?
